You knew that I'd pick a ruckman or that I'd specifically take Warnock?

A ruckman mate.

Like structurally what you are doing with your team. I have similar philosophies.

Don't agree on Warnock, but Carlton might be desperate enough to give him game time he doesn't deserve at the moment and build his stats up. Still two other rucks I would of had before him. Your logic is sound though.

Mate, some of us work for a living... that's that thing where you move away from your computer, but usually without a beer in your hand - you'll discover it one day :hihi

Is really my pick already?

Some of us work in a closed office where we are responsible for ensuring plebs like you slave away.

Though your statement is true for me, unlike you I can be honest, I'm on holiday. How's work mate?

This one's for you! :beer

Now stop being so selfish and take your pick, people are dedicated to this so much they are risking being late for work and you don't even take the time to know who's pick it is. ::)

I'm with you.

The rate with which the big blokes are falling away (was hoping Mooney would slip to next Round), better take the 6th best big forward (statistically anyway) while he is still there:

Quinten Lynch - West Coast

Also gives me some flex in the ruck according to his role in 2008 (DD seems to think I'll need it ::) ).

Sorry it took so long Cpt - stick that up your Big Q DD :spin

I did debate Lade, Brogan, Maric & Griffin, and possibly Simmonds, but they're all part of a group of 2nd tier ruckmen. Could've picked anyone of these as well as a project ruckman. One of these i can pick up later.

Just thought Warnock does have an opportunity to become a 1st tier ruckman immediately.

For the purpose of this comp it is absolutely beyond me why you'd select Wartcrock ahead of Simmonds - talk about a no brainer!

Yep, as I said your logic is sound.

You have named one player I rate as a number 1 ruckman better than Warnock, but it's only my opinion and to be honest, if Warnock is playing the majority of minutes, there is little differences in the three players.

Taking a ruckman early is good logic, as there is not a lot of really good ones around as we start to see now.

Agree...hang on...did i just say that? I agree with Phargone....*looks up at the sky expecting it to rain fire*

Now, Capo is one of the smart ones, he knew how unreliable Phargone is so he gave me his pick.

Ryan Griffen (WBD)

It is Capo's turn isn't it? Sorry...had a Phargone moment then.

Speaking of rucks this is the guy I wanted from the outset if I wasn't going to get one early.

Hudson, Ben.

Cannot believe some of the rucks that have gone ahead of him.

Yeah, nice one. Very underrated.

Agree, but I do think he got found a bit last season without any support. Will be more interested to see who is backing him up for you to get full value from him!

DD - you know you want to agree with everything I say - just say YES!

What sort of drugs are you on?

A 194cm back up ruck...

6th best big forward statistically? By who's stats? Hugh Hefner's?

He didn't even crack the Top 25 goal kickers, averaged 1 goal a game, and played 22 games.

6th best forward...you really are Phargone.

Stop reading stats and watch some footy.

Geez you navel gaze mate - your only interest is what goes in your guts and what hangs from it. Think a little more broadly - footy is played over more than one season - The Big Q played a big role in 2008 so they could nurse the Cox through the whole season. Get outa rock logic thinking - it's killin ya ;D. For all forwards he was 11th.

Oh and on matters more important, and U2 takes Scooty Lucas from Essendon.

I'm outa here now for the day - someone else berate this booby will ya :hihi

Looks like your up DD!

I don't think your pick will please pharace......no matter who you choose.

I bet he's better than Quinten Lynch though ;D

He's just plucking the courage to go:

.....................Aaron Fiora.................... :thinking

I wonder if he'll make it back before his two hour limit :don't know

Maybe he went to research some stats on Aaron Fiora....... :hihi

Some interesting choices, a lot that have me raising my eyebrows, like my chooices may have done also, but good to see some reasoning why the player has picked.

Bah, first he was 6th. Once challenged, now you say 11th. Next post will you say 18th? If I kept persevering with your stubbornness you eventually concede...yeah I know, he sucks if he doesn't have Cousins, Judd & Kerr hand feeding him.

He kicked 23 goals for as many games! Oh he played some time in the ruck did he?, nowhere near enough to justify his season, and he sucked at that too, he couldn't get more than 9 taps and he didn't even beat his career best of 11 ( :hihi) despite all this time in the ruck you refer to!

Move on, nothing to see here. Phargone is just dog paddling trying to keep his head above water right now.

Stuffed me well and truly, that was going to be my pick. Excellent pick u2, give Phargone some tips, he won't put down Sheehans Top 50 "kids who will be guns, but will loose to men right now" article.
