No.

Is that what you want to hear?

Just checking (I think I might have read it, though I can imagine your voice inside my head)

I would just like to remind other posters like myself who initially marked the Yes for drafting button, that you can remove vote.

Once vote is removed then you can go ahead and tick NO.

I'm sure theirs a lot out their like me who have now changed our minds.

This poll is obviously innacurate now.

Vote NO for Cousins. ;D
Yeah. Just changed mine to No.

This guy is apparently a recovering addict and like Ben, will always be at risk of returning to his habit.

Let me put a totally hypothetical question. If we can help by providing the appropriate support structure for a recovering addict whose life to now has been footy, does it really matter if he is 1 month, 6 months or 12 months into that rehailitation, before we start?

The person involved has been mentioned on radio by Caro. Off memory I think she was far from happy he is at the club, but apparently RFC have allowed him to be at the club only under certain conditions (no mention of what these are).

Don't know details of this, just passing on what I heard on the radio several months ago.

It was Wayne Johnston (this is public record) but Miller denied there were any conditions at all and said Caro was talking through her hat.

Re: Cousins: The poll. Do you want the Tigers to draft Ben Cousins?

All of the driving related charges against Cousins have been dropped on a technicality.

Re: Cousins: The poll. Do you want the Tigers to draft Ben Cousins?

Those police that arrested him have an interesting few days ahead..so does his former club and the AFL.

What a colossal balls up.

Isn't it new legislation though gus?

I'm no fan of Benny's lifestyle but after what Cousins has been put through on the back of this it's comedy hour on the face of it.

Re: Cousins: The poll. Do you want the Tigers to draft Ben Cousins?

Still a chance to come to us in the PSD and to be considered for selection if and when he gets his act together. :hihi

Re: Cousins: The poll. Do you want the Tigers to draft Ben Cousins?

Go Teflon Benny. About time the persecution of Benny stopped.

Need some photoshop Tooheys of Benny in a Tigers jumper.

Ta-daaaaaa !

Not charged with a single thing. What a beat up and PR disaster by the cops.

Re: Cousins: The poll. Do you want the Tigers to draft Ben Cousins?

It seems that some people simply don't understand the crux of the matter.

Forget charges being dropped, what he has or hasn't been convicted of, who or who he doesn't know.

Its all irrelevant.

The major issue here is that Ben Cousins has a serious drug problem. He needs to get his life in order before he can consider a return to the game.

Has anyone thought that returning to the game may actually have a detrimental effect on him whilst he is in an alleged fragile state of mind.

The pressure, the media hype, the scutinee, the status, may all be things he needs to avoid right now.

It failed last time, so just maybe its not the right way to go for him at the moment.

Despite this 'technicality', the chances of Cuz ever becoming a Tiger are extremely remote.

Besides he is still currently on the Weagles list I believe.

Still has the Weagles internal review, the AFL's independent review and the charges of bringing the game into disrepute all in front of him yet.

Benny's going to need all his Teflon to get through that unscathed.

Re: Ben Cousins threads and Poll [Merged]

Legal technicality and one that will get corrected quickly by the police
As far as the AFL are concerned, he refused a drug test and that's enough for them

In hindsight it makes no difference at all after recent events

Exactly, contrary to the advice the Weagles actually got the best thing for him to do is to have a complete change in environment.

Perth to Melbourne is a fair change.
