I imagine the :spin doctors are earning their money down at AFL headquarters.
Will the AFL see this as a first strike, second strike, third strike?
Will they cut him loose after all their promises to help those in need?

I don't know if anyone has ever listened to 6PR(first time for me) but it's talk back radio with Barich and hardie is bizzare.
Everyone who rings in either blames all this on the Eastern media,Ben 'going through a hard time',society or some various other conspiracy against Ben or the Eagles.

He obviously has issues. He cant just be hung out. He needs to be put through long rehab.
Should the AFL just let him go and wind up over doseing? Or should they take responsibility and make sure he is drug free, even if that means funding a 2-3 year drug rehab program. Because those few months in Malibu didnt do *smile*.
The such is life tatoo is just a posers thing. He purposely showed it off in the final against port and anywhere he goes now I bet.

nothing surprises in that regard....they feted as rock idols over there....and perth public only see the pr side of things they dont get to see these guys at the nightclubs doing you know what.. with you know what.....

Is this a possible scenario? The Cotchins go to the AFL and outrightly demand that Trent go to the Rookie Draft and not the ND due to the fact that West Coast will draft him with their first pick. We pick up Morton with our 2 in the ND and Cotchin with our first rookie pick.Smoking Aces said:

I think he's been given every opportunity to get clean. As far as I'm aware, no-one forced him to come back from rehab so quickly (I may be wrong). If he was really worried about relapsing, he'd have stayed there.
Alternatively, he was given the chance to come back and immerse himself in his football. He should have had beelines from home, to training and to games with no straying.
Clearly he's chosen not to take either opportunity.
