Very true my old friend.... not many on my side on this one.... but if Cousins said to the RFC i want to play on...ill come to Melbourne get away from the Perth scene and ill go on a reasonable contract (one yr) - FOR NOTHING..... it would take some balls for the club to refuse...but they are all massive IFs and variables right now....but gee if we got him up and going for no price it would be some get. If he is not willing to do any of this then of course i wouldnt touch the man... in fact the only reason i entertain the thought is all down to the mans incredible footballing abitilty nothing more than that.

He did Royce.... look there are a million questions and variables to this entire story... i am just putting it out there that i would think the RFC will be exploring all avenues if Ben was to go in the PSD. Perhaps if they feel they have the adequate resources in Melbourne and at the club and also taking him away from his comfort zone in Perth it might shake him up and give him a BETTER crack at turning his life around....who knows....i certainly dont i just think its an interesting scenario that could quite easily eventuate and id be interested to see how the club would act on it.....id be one to give him another go here in Melbourne.

Hey A1 and A2...do these stuff ups equate to the three strikes and you are out policy. I wonder if we will see some balls or more shoe shuffling we dont want to do anything its a police matter lets sweep it under the carpet action?

...pretty lame comment....there are drugs everywhere...especially in the AFL....he wont escape them and you cant stop a 28yr old male from gaining access to them. Its the people he is hanging around in WA that might be the real problem -- removing them might help the problem....WHO KNOWS!?!?!?!?!?

maybe so daoula?....but sometimes the biggest risk is to not take one....i dont have the answers and i dont know the guy nor the full extent to what he has done....just playing out a potential scenario.

:wave Ben. Looks like he has played his last AFL game. Was reported on 3AW tonight that if the WCE don't act on him then the AFL could fine them by taking away draft picks. Also there is the possibility of the AFL de-registering him. Fonzie and the gang will be watching WCE very very closely.
