Re: Hardwick makes some telling observations

FFS it was light hearted off the cuff. You needed to of heard it. Of course it looks bad in print but if you had of heard it then you would realise that Dimma was just jesting.

I'm referring to Mike's interview skills.

By the way Con did Hardwick say his comments were in 'jest' or words to that effect, or is that your opinion?

The context was that they asked him about Benny's future and he said they was making the decision on Monday and then they asked him if he thought Benny had value for coaching. And thats when he make the crack about Benny not listiening much in meetings and doing his own thing.

On 3AW today Wallsy siad the same thing about Richo how in meetings Richo would be gazing out the window.

Forget about the Cuz being in our best 22, he is our single best player over the past month.

Really running on top of the ground. If only his teammates put in the effort he does we wouldnt have results like yesterday.

On his future its not hard to read that the club are very unlikely to offer him another contract.
Wrongly in leysy's opinion.

disgrace in harry's opinion. especially after re-signing tuck

Agreed.

A joke if he is not given another year.

Take Cuz out and who is left over 25?

Newman, Tuck and King!

That's it.

I say goodbye King, not cuz.

.

Yes it is mate.

The young players will at least develop the right way under Cuz.

Tuck not so. Unless we are trying to win a premiership in 1983.

How do you know that?  So many make similar claims.  How does anyone know whata comes from Ben, what from Newmo, what from Jacko? They've been with Ben for a season or two now.  Was there evidence of his particular development of the kids in the performance against the blooze?

Why does everything have to go back to Jackson? Jackson could still learn about football from Cousins. Jackson couldn't impart the knowledege that Cousins has become he doesn't exhibit any thing close to footballing smarts on the field.

Every single, player dicusses it, every write up it is but still you don't want to agree with it. But for any point that you are trying to prove you trot examples from within the club.

Why even refrence the game on the weekend, it holds no referecne and is not something to judge from.

The message to the young ones is that you give it your all when youre out there.
Cuz showed the way on the weekend where many others were just spectators Cuz did what Cuz does best that is never give up and when youre :police: go harder till youre really :police: then go again.
No ones going to tell me that Cuz is not good enough to get another year on an AFL list of 42 players when hes been in our best 5 players.

Being a Brownlow winning Premiership player suggests he knows what it takes to be a success - on field at least. Probably more than anyone else in the playing group knows.

If Denham has reported that Cuz will retire I suspect that is what will happen. Unlike other journos Greg is usually on the money.

Greg also states that the club was willing to give him another year.

Only a disgrace in harry's opinion if the club wasn't going to re-sign him. Denham has reported that the club was willing to give him another year.

This idea of Bens influence on the other players makes me laugh. He can't win can he if the players and the coachs say Ben is a great roll model and a postive inflence then people don't beleive them but if theres a drugs or alcohol scare like in sydney then the same people are quick to critisice him.

Greg on SEN now. Saying about to announce his retirement. Could possibly be tomorrow. Also saying that Hardwick was possibly offering him another year. Time will tell.

KB is taking this as gospel. Hoep it blows up in there faces.

Well personally I had hoped he would play on. He has been the main RFC player I watch the most intently week in week out. However, it looks as though the pundits have hung up his boots, ah such is life! Hopefully the RFC will continue to move in the right direction and have benefitted through the brief, but exciting 2 season cameo from Ben Cousins!

There is no doubt the club has benefited in numerous ways TG. However some on here will dispute that.
