Tough call, the twist is that Chol is an unrestricted free agent so we'd get a big fat 0 if we lost him whereas CJ requires a trade.
Got currency coz he's got potential. We are going for a 3 tall fwd line and Jacks got 1 year left in him. Lynch not too many after that. The cupboard is bare for young key forwards. Need to think succession planGoing to do a few more years in the VFL is he?
CJ has currency.
This is the issue and the fact that both are starved off playing opportunities at tiger land.Tough call, the twist is that Chol is an unrestricted free agent so we'd get a big fat 0 if we lost him whereas CJ requires a trade.
CJ is no replacement for JR.Got currency coz he's got potential. We are going for a 3 tall fwd line and Jacks got 1 year left in him. Lynch not too many after that. The cupboard is bare for young key forwards. Need to think succession plan
He is for Lynch, who has a bung knee.CJ is no replacement for JR.
We’re still entitled for a compensation pick I believe.Tough call, the twist is that Chol is an unrestricted free agent so we'd get a big fat 0 if we lost him whereas CJ requires a trade.
did i mention that chol is an unrestricted free agent
If it was who I think would be the better player, I'd keep CJ.
Looking at our list however and we will play Lynch and Jack next year too. I think the 3 of those (Lynch, Jack and CJ) makes us too slow in the forward half. Chols athleticism wins it for me. We have Ryan coming through who I think will replace Jack in a year or so, then we need to draft for Lynchs replacement. Lynch is only 29. I can't see CJ being happy to sit around for 2-3 to replace Lynch.
Therefore for me for list balance I would trade CJ and keep Chol. We will get a lot more for trading CJ also, so it may work out best for us to do that. If say we end up with Pick 9, could CJ get us Pick 3 from Gold Coast? Ie. CJ and Pick 10, for Pick 3?
We need to replenish our mids with top end draft picks and therefore we need high picks, not a load in the mid teens.
