Who are our well known/celebrity supporters?

Wasn't aware of that one, Houli's influence perhaps?

Apparently paulee he has half lived in melbourne for years and has barracked for us with growing enthusiasm since he's been here. I think his wife is from Melb, only heard this haven't checked it, but apparently a genuine supporter pre-houli. I saw footage of him with his scarf in the rooms talking to Houli and Jack at half time last week.

From 'Greenberg's Grabs R 2'

There’s a clear connection between the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens, Yusuf Islam, and Richmond.
Yusuf, who is currently living in Melbourne while working on his upcoming play, “Moonshadow”, was a keen visitor to the Richmond rooms last Saturday night, even sharing a prayer session with Tiger star and fellow Muslim, Bachar Houli.
Not sure how long Yusuf has been a Richmond supporter, but while he was churning out hits such as Matthew & Son, Peace Train, Morning Has Broken, Father and Son, Moonshadow, Oh Very Young, Another Saturday Night, and Old Schoolyard, in his Cat Stevens days during the 1970s, the Tigers were topping the league football charts at the same time, with their own special brand of entertainment.

Nobody has mentioned Cat Stevens/ Yousef Islam. Was in the rooms last week, huge. Thats what I call a celebrity supporter. I'd love to see him do an album of Tigers-themed songs:

'I'm looking for a hard-headed backman'
'Remember the days when the tiges were good' (we used to laugh a lot)
'Tigers have woken'
Tiges World'
'Chimp Train'
'Grimes Shadow'

Also applicable:
'Father and son'
'Oh very young'
'I can't keep it in'

I'd buy that.

He even predicted the rise of Dustin Martin in his classic 1972 album "Catch Bull at Four." Now, that is a Tiger fan.

Hopefully on Saturday evening we get to sing 'Mourning has Broken', dealing with loss at Kardinia Park has been an all too familiar experience.

Australian idol runner up Shannon Noll has joined the tribe since moving to Melb ... Smart boy

Harry Kewell??

I believe that Marc LEISHMAN who won on the US PGA Tour yesterday is a tigers supporter.
It would be nice to see the club send him some type of congratulatory note or similar.
Maybe an official invite at a future game?

The club posted a congratulatory Twitter message...does that count?

I recently spoke to a staffer of NSW premier Barry O'Farrell who told me that O'Farrell has dumped his lifetime support of the Tigers and become a Swans supporter.

I trust this information is enough to lose him the 'Richmond vote', such as it was.

How could someone do that

I was wondering if we could make a team of the century of players of other teams who were big tiges fans

David King
Luke Hodge
Jimmy Bartel
Wayne Harmes
Tim Watson

Not a bad start
