Have you liferaft aboard your dreary vessel Baz?

don't be daft. sea of mediocrity is only ankle-deep.

but it's appropriate that you captain the vessel, ET :hihi

after all, aren't you hoping for a "finals win", like the other cheerleaders?

should get hardwick more time to build his list.

The righteous never need a life raft ET.

just amazes me that hardwick is still there, Josey.

i know he ain't gonna be moved on until results go south, but the fact he's still there at all is one of life's wonders.

Everyone seeing things differently and has different views, this club apologist crap and acceptance of mediocricity tripe that gets pushed out is absolute rubbish.
Come on TT74.It would be much better for the future of RFC for all of us to not be members and never go to games. Surely you know that !

These loyal supporters are killing the club

We've brutally suppressed the silent majority for way too long.

If we hadn't made the mistake of extending his contract for 2 years at the start of last season he probably would have been.

No doubt Carn. Doesn't fill me with a lot of hope heading into the season with the same coach at the helm.

Im Captain of The Wild Optimism. Its a hovercraft, so it handles ankle deep water well.

I wouldnt be happy with only an Elimination final win, but I would be happy with a Qualifying final win.

I'll be ecstatic with a grandfinal win.

yeah, I spose im in the cheerleader squad. I got a nice arse and a big pom pom.

Gimme a D

I do kind of wonder if Balme was told early on that getting rid of Hardwick in 2016 wouldn't happen, but to put a plan in place for 2017 and beyond, ala Carcella. I think a few clubs will be looking for new coaches late in 2017.

Yep as I've said before I can't see why else Carrot Seller would come across if someone didn't sell him a carrot.

Great movie. They don't make movies like that anymore.

re Mannequin... i'm half-embarrassed to admit that I had a teenage boy crush on the woman in that movie. I only found out a few years ago that it was the skank from sex in the city :vomit :vomit :vomit

sounds like a convergence of Dalai Lama and Donald Trump styles.

extraordinary!

I'll have a try

Anyone who isnt supporting the tiger through these difficult times is a fair-weather supporter and can go and get stuffed. But were all in this together, as members of the tiger family.

Weekend at Bernies has to be one of the funniest films of all times. Certainly funnier than all the Dimma threads.

Would be disappointed if the club didn't have contingencies in place in the event that Dimma can't turn things around.

However first and foremost I want wins. Mystifies me how any supporter could wish for anything else....

Equally as mystifying is how a mediocre coach can carry on for so long without being called on his lack of results.

Wins? Pfft.

Join the pom pom brigade.

I want vision. Inspiration. A system that not only wins "arm wrestles" but blows unworthy teams to the sh!thouse.

I want my team to be ruthless. Hardwick doesn't know the meaning of the word.

He has never coached to dominate. Everything is does is about restricting the oppo score. Never believed in scoreboard pressure and never will.

LOL at the blinkered need for "wins". You guys don't seem to realize how much time and resources have already been frittered away by a cripplingly timid club.

Supporters don't wish for anything else. There is no greater truth than that.

Supporters understand where their club is at without resorting to vacuous, infantile cheerleading.

A simple question for you BS. Would you be rapt if the Tigers made the Grand Final this year?

I'd be rapt. Over the moon.

And very, very surprised.

Empirical evidence suggests it is not going to happen so persisting with the coach (can't change till mid-season I know) is negligence of the highest order.
