I do kind of wonder if Balme was told early on that getting rid of Hardwick in 2016 wouldn't happen, but to put a plan in place for 2017 and beyond, ala Carcella. I think a few clubs will be looking for new coaches late in 2017.Tigers of Old said:

He has never coached to dominate. Everything is does is about restricting the oppo score. Never believed in scoreboard pressure and never will.

Empirical evidence suggests it is not going to happen so persisting with the coach (can't change till mid-season I know) is negligence of the highest order.
