I bet Elon a bit upset with all the meaningful insults he’s getting on here 
Now it’s turned into the de facto hate Trump thread as well.
You might as well ask the mods to reopen the US Election thread. But ensure you blame the a Democrats for keeping Dementia Joe running for re-election for too long. Then mounted a coup to oust him and replaced him with an even bigger dud. That the majority of the American voters rejected.
That’s what happens when you have no policies, cover up for an old bloke with dementia!, Appoint a dead duck as candidate and a knuckle headed fool for VP. Wasted over a $billion on Kamala’s campaign. Elon only spent $18million.

He’ll probably get an exemption for raw materials seeing as he has vehicle and battery and tool and die factories in Fremont, Lathrop, Grand Rapids, Buffalo, Austin and others. Plenty of taxes from those vehicles and batteries as well as employment.
Exemption from tariffs, reduced state and federal t duties. Sales and payroll taxes on approx 80,000 employees in the USA.

Of course he will. With 80,000 people employed at Tesla factories in the US alone, not counting in sales, maintenance, servicing it will be good business practice. I doubt massive tariffs would be imposed on each and every product without knowing the impact on local US manufacturing and employment. After all they are first and foremost businessmen.
With that there might even be a transition to opening more manufacturing in the US. Which can only be a good thing for US employment. Which raises more tax money flowing into the Treasury.
It’s a pity our government doesnt encourage more manufacturing in Australia. More jobs, taxes, support industries.
Instead of just shipping raw materials overseas where they value add to it. We’re missing out on $billions, we have no government with any real foresight, apart from spending $billions on renewables. Where and what are our National infrastructure projects?
