Including practice and scratch matches he's played 4 or 5 games now.

Dusty played round 1 and Judd round 2 of their first season. I'm not comparing him to them, but if he's playing well enough and is fit enough, get him in.

Was he BOG in his VFL game last year? BOG against Sandringham. If so that's 2 BOGs from 3 VFL games
Who said he was BOG in those 2 games?

He played well but not sure he was BOG. Certainly wasn't in the game yesterday

Windhager and Owens looked equally as good and were harder at the contest. Brown would want to be a gun because both those guys can play and we had the option to draft them at 17.

Owens in particular looks special.
Big and fast. Clearly a young player with a huge future

Fair enough. For yesterday I was going off his stats. Best stats of the game and demonstrated by his fantasy points. Perhaps not as influential as the zebra boys.

The Saints were bricking it that they might miss Owens.

I think he was academy for them wasnt he, and would he have to have been bid on?

Yep, his mum was born in Japan so he qualified for NGA. What a ridiculous system BTW.

They were both academy for them. Windhager got injured otherwise he would have been a top 20 pick.

Who? What list is Owes on?
Owens is a real talent and had the better of Sonsie in the contests yesterday but Sonsie got him on the outside

This may not be a popular comparison but Sonsie reminds me of Marc Murphy. A classy small mid that can get a ton of posies but not that interested in sticking his head in the hole. Will be a very good player for us though.

Watching the game yesterday. It is very hard to work out if he is a left or right foot kick. I can't recall anyone so indifferent and casual kicking on both feet since Leon Cameron. He is way too good to be playing 2's. A natural footballer.

Very different players but we could sure do with an Owens type.
We tried to get one in RCD but look to have failed.

I’d happily take a Marc Murphy from a second round pick. Damn good player.

Maybe Sam Mitchell?

I agree, its ridiculous. I think Reef McInnes was similar for the Pies. It seems strange that kids born in Australia, played footy since a young boy but just happen to have a parent born outside of Australia, are treated differently. I'd hazard a guess these clubs have done next to nothing to further these kids development.
