Welcome to Tigers: Jason Castagna

No it didn't. He played 2 and looked out of his depth to me. Back the seconds for a spell. Tonight, looks the goods. Thats the way things often go. I got no problem with that.
Disagree wholeheartedly. He showed enormous potential in his first 2 games imo. Should have stayed in. He changes our dynamic dramatically as he is quick. Must play rest of the season.

In Oleg and Castagna out Maric and Vickery and they wonder why our run and tackle improved!

Hardwick cannot rate a footballer. It took him ages to realise Miles and Lloyd can actually play. Unless the kid is a high draft pick Hardwick doesn't know they exist.

This is a great point. Unless someone does something amazing first up, they are gone.

George takes the game on. We need more of that. He looked right at home. No fear.

Rest of the year a must.

Only brought in because it was multicultural round and we needed to get a higher quota. :police:
Thank the AFL, we brought in someone from an Italian background and someone born in Belarus.

And don't forget McBean was born in Bethlehem.

was really excited before the game as ,oleg, short, castagna, menadue, rioli all have pace, at least if these guys get 10-12 pocessions, they still have breakaway pace which gives our side a edge we have not seen for years, guys like lambert, chaplin, ivan, batchelor, townsend, moore, etc are way too low in pocessions AND MOST OF ALL, DONT HAVE ANY WEAPON AT AFL LEVEL, please stop recruiting low talent no weapon types, great game by newbies.

Surely Chol deserved an upgrade from the rookie list then? ;)

Good call. We looked a lot more dangerous. We can kick to space and use that as a weapon knowing we have players who can run into it.

Out of interest how quick is George? Is he faster than Lids and Yarren?

Didn't notice him as much today and was very surprised to see that he had 23 possessions. Going well is George.

Bit ridiculous he wasn't playing earlier in the season tbh. Every time I've seen him at VFL level I've been impressed.

Same here, little rough round the edges, but like the lad, quick , tough, brave.
