Welcome to Tigerland - Callum Moore

We need a 2nd tall.

Do we really need a 2nd tall? We won a premiership with 1 and our forward line was #1 for efficiency and highest score for most of this year.

Personally, I think 2nd tall forwards the most overrated position on the ground in the modern game. I see clubs paying big money for these type of players, but they get a free pass more than anyone else. This makes it a dangerous belief IMO.

Let’s just cheer Moore on to become a good forward and if he happens to be tall or not is never the deciding reason for him playing or not playing..

Very good game tonight, Did a lot of smart Riewoldt type things and was a very good contributor, He plays with passion and genuinely gives his all

Hope the kicking can be sorted out, Its difficult but you never know sometimes it just clicks - Stewart Lowe improved out of sight and he was worse than Moore
Is Sav Rocca available ?

He has the tools to fit in with the team. Contests, does the team things, brings the ball to ground and knocks the ball on to other players advantage.

A good team player.

Cal provides 25 times more than Todd Elton did in the same situation in our premiership year.

With his pace , he needs to use that to his advantage when we haven’t got the ball ,

If he can chase and tackle like jack , with the added pace ,

He stays in I reckon

Infeel that he gives us more structure especially when we bomb it forward. He stays IMHO

Has had 8 shots at goal in 2 games. If he’d kicked straight, media would be losing their *smile* like Ronke.

That’s Cals problem, he ain’t never gunna kick straight.

2 goal 2 and at least 2 goal assists. Don't know why people are even debating if he stays in at least for next week. But by all means concentrate on the negative people rather than the positives he is bringing at the moment ::)

If we get the GF forward line back out on the park with Moore in place of Towner ,

We are exceptionally quick and with the 2018 George and caddy in place of the 2017 versions ,

Strong in the air .

Hardest thing to teach is how to get it, at least he does that.
Hopefully with more games and experience this may change. Best option present.

Going very well for mine. Should've been in weeks ago.

Set shot kicking the only missing ingredient. Great distance but ball drop is iffy as others have noted.

We've gotta get games into him, Menadue, Markov etc. so they're finals-ready, whether they're in that 22 or not. The step up from VFL is hard enough; September is a different beast for the young and underprepared.

Not sure the actual stats from last year , however I thought Moore’s set shot kicking improved dramatically, he was pretty bloody ordinary to start with though, from what I’ve seen this year his dropped off again a bit, in saying that he seems to have the discipline to be sticking to his routine and going through the process. Does also look like the ball actually always spins correctly even if he’s pulled or pushed the kick a bit unlike how he used to have a bigger bag of tricks then Warney, flippers , wrongins, top spinners he had it all .

In the old days he’d be doing 50 shots at goal each training session.

While we'd all love him to nail every kick perfectly, it simply doesn't happen no matter how good the player is supposed to be, but at least he's doing the base work. Competed hard last week with Jaaack out n just as hard again last night with Jaaack having a poor game.
Did all that was asked of him throughout the game n even managed to snack on a couple of sausages. T.V. Griffinator, Elton all been tried n gone over the last few years, Couple of games in and Callum is providing at least as much as any of the other three did.

I didn’t think his set shots were that bad. Good distance and pretty straight. Just needs to learn how to line them up and he should be ok.
