Welcome to Tigerland - Callum Moore

Sometimes feel like going to the Carlton Bigfooty board, just to reminisce on the good old days, when we had something meaningful to argue about. Do you think it would come across as condescending if I jumped in over there and assured them that it's ok, your day will come... losers.

I wouldn't find it condescending at all. You'd be very seen as very magnanimous

Welcome back young man!

I don't see a lot of Moore as I cant get to any VFL games, seen a little when they televise the games but that's it..

Look forward to seeing him on Saturday and hope he grabs the opportunity with both hands as were crying out for someone to take some load off Jack!

First sign of a slight strategy change. Interesting path.

Boy deserves his spot, he may play the Castanga role with a bit of rucking thrown in.

Great subplot.

Sure is a change.

He isn't your typical 2nd key forward but no doubt they will want him to play that role.

Could we see Jack playing closer to goal this week?

The change in strategy is a good one IMO. Way too much left to Jack so far this year.
Thought Chol might get a gig first but not a lot between them.
Cal is made of the right stuff. He gives his all at every contest. Very good hards & will crash a pack.
Most importantly he's quick so he's not just an extra tall, he's also going to bring leg speed & maintain that vaunted forward pressure that we've built our brand on.
Hope they play him on the wing pushing forward. Can't rely on him kicking goals but hopefully can play a role & ease some of the heat on jack.
Will look forward to how he goes.

Rapt and looking forward to seeing how he plays.

Just provide a presence so Jack doesn't get double teamed. If he kicks some goals, that's a bonus..

Good luck kid.

Yes, same height and weight as Jack actually. Looking forward to seeing him; hope he takes his chances but they need to get him to lead away from Jack if deep forward, not getting in each other's way. Like to see him play high forward, even some time on the wing, to use that speed and marking power.

So he’s not a recognised goal kicker ?

I don’t watch a lot of seconds but assumed he was .

He is picked ahead of Chol because we don't lose anything in speed up forward with him there, he is lightning quick. Looks a very good player at vfl level now so definitely worth a shot.

You can see the strategy putting in another tall but he will also have to bring the defensive heat. Whether he has that or not we will see but it's the way the vfl team plays under Fly as well

Has the potential to be a reasonable AFL player but as long as he plays between the arcs. You don’t want him kicking out from the D50 because it’ll probably just come back and you don’t want him kicking in the F50 because he,ll break your heart.
