Welcome to Tiger land Riley Collier’Dawkins

Where does he go from here? Only just going at VFL level. 11 games into his 4th year. Uncontracted at the moment for 2023.
To me he's just too timid for midfield. Missing that killer instinct. A shame but was always a risky proposition. Was never prolific at junior level.

Yep always been hopeful and positive he will make it but watching vfl last few weeks it’s clear he’s not up to it over 4 quarters. Sadly it’s very likely he will br delisted

He’s just slow and doesn’t have a tank to me.

Well not down to the pub because he doesn’t seem to be a pub type of guy, so down to the cafe for a “where the *smile* do you want to go with the game mate” conversation. Are you hungry? Do you want an AFL career? Can you see yourself as an AFL player mate? Well, if so time to grow some balls mate and find some testosterone and show you want it. If you can’t show it mate your career is over so you better pass your exams!

Maybe he will ask to be traded again.

He can go to Norf. He'll get free games and morer coin.

We punted Corey Ellis and he got a second chance immediately. I don't think RCD gets a second chance straight away. Doesn't say a lot for RCD.

Has enough talent to play AFL. Doesn't have the physical attributes to do it (or perhaps the mental desire) as he can't do it for more than a couple of quarters here and there.

Was a defender of him, but I'm off the wagon, and prepared to pour kerosene on it. He's done.

Done ok on his last gig in the firsts then dumped. Not 100% sure the young man has been properly developed or had a fair go. But yeah looks like he is heading for 5he scrap heap!

Gone. Needs to dominate VFL when dropped back. Was doing it last year, this year been disappointing. 10 weeks or so to turn it around

I don't understand how Riley gets 13 possessions in the first term regularly in the VFL & then goes missing for the rest of the game?

I don't believe it's his tank cause he put in a huge preseason with Steve Morris. The club afforded Riley every resource this year to make the most of himself physically. So?

This is a mental hurdle for him. Time is ticking to carve our his AFL career as an AFL midfielder. Riley won't get a better opportunity to do it at any other club.
Right now we are literally screaming for him to step up..

We are. But Dow and CD aren't showing enough in the 2's to walk into the seniors.
How long has CD been on the list 3yrs? He should be best 22 by now.
People stopped mentioning him and started to follow Sonie progression. Which also has tailed off.
I can't see how CD gets another contract

Said this before about RCD but he is essentially the same player he was in u18. Averages mid-teen disposals, good at clearances, occasional explosive burst that excites but overall not involved enough in general play.

Probably only behind Martyn in order of who gets delisted first. Yet, somehow may survive into a fifth year depending on retirements and trades this year.

Riley is the continuation of a long and unfortunate recruiting tradition at Richmond of drafting “midfielders” that are not really midfielders. Hope we can finally start to correct this.

Thought he was tracking ok last year. Finally played some games and showed some glimpses, started getting high numbers at VFL level. Then had a solid fitness pre season, I expected him to become a regular this year. He's gone backwards, back to low numbers at VFL and looks miles off it.

It will take a miracle for him to turn it around from here. I'm writing him off.

People were using his ribs as an excuse.
They weren’t the problem
