c'mon. white isnt even the most overrated small forward at Punt Rd in recent years.
I don't think we've had a small forward worth rating have we Broders ?

White had had a few hammy issues I think while at Punt rd and his time at Port his been unlucky with injuries, so I'd say Club offering a one year deal s the correct call.

probably not, didnt stop some thinking we had the next messiah. playing for Glenelg now i think.

im not sure why this thread has turned into a discussion about a 30yo who has only averaged more than a goal a game in season once (when he averaged 1.1) and has a career high average of 14.7 disposals.

back to our 20yo who is already averaging 16disposal and 1.7 goals/game. he is making a great start to his AFL career. i just hope he doesnt do a runner if another club waves a few extra $$$$ in front of him.

So Mappa, who were our 'multiple quick forwards' over 2014-2016? Knights, Morris, Thomas?

We have been in a time-warp, have we? So now it's 2017, it's all forgotten. There was that great final against PA in '14. The way we over-ran Norf in the '15 EF? Like 2016 was such a great year for the club, we loved it. Yer, right.

Maybe fully comprehend a point before you respond with a trite post. You only missed it by about 3 years.

So Leon I am not really sure you are commenting on the point I am making, but lets give you the benefit of the doubt.

It would appear that by your thinking quick small forwards appeared at Richmond by osmosis.

Butler, Rioli, Castagna, Markov, speed speed speed

There has been a change of strategy clearly.

What does that have to do with Matty White being miss managed by Hardwick?

ZERO but please lets have another post or two of useless blabber

Really like the way this kid plays.

Loved it that he had the confidence to tuck the ball under his arm and go when he kicked that first quarter goal. That sort of play has been missing at RFC for way too long.

Trent Nicholls did it. But only for North. ;D

Have to admit, I was a doubter, he seemed a little too scrappy for me, but he's been excellent this year. Energy, pace, and I think something more. Intensity. He's got that Jack/Rance desire to win a contest, win the game, be the best. You're allowed to be scrappy if you're manic full on attack scrappy.

Baloo's posts are usually concise so no.

Disappointing to see Leon in full-on rage mode again.

I agree, Baloo is solid..

Is there any other mode?

I have enough frustrations at work, why anyone would come to a RFC site to contanstly argue with all and sundry is beyond me!

Agreed antman, my post was in support of Baloo.

Reference to kitchen equipment was for leon.

Love his work so far. Hopefully he maintains this level - FP is the hardest spot on the ground to maintain consistency.

Even Eddie Betts has quiet days.

I too enjoy reading Baloo's material.

There are others who seem angry most of the time and just not worth engaging.

He hated being picked as sub constantly; never felt like he was really part of the team. A big reason he left. So, no, didn't suit him.

Yeah, I want to play striker for Man United but that still hasn't quite happened for me yet.

I'd say whatever I posted would be wasted upon you, yes. My comments were in support of Yandb's point re the failure to keep MW in lieu of having enough pacy players in the INTERVENING YEARS until now. As I have stated, it's historic now.

You failed to understand this in responding to him and to my posts since. Never mind, it's just beyond you. Hence you resort to insults.

:hihi

That's fantastic. So the club recruiters exercised their crystal-ball reading skills to (very wisely) not offer a longer contract to MW because they could foresee the future, with his forthcoming injury issues.

What happened to these amazing powers with other decisions - e.g. like Yarran recruitment, team selection for 2015 EF etc?

:rofl :rofl
