Welcome to the Tigers Nathan Broad

Great game from Nathan tonight was everywhere and just kept getting in their way!

Will get overlooked by many but was a key performer tonight for the Tigers, put his body in and contested hard all night.

Agree - I reckon he one of the defenders who has stepped up to help cover the loss of Rance.

Best game for the year but he will need to back it up on Wednesday though.

been really really good all year..probably our most improved....he has stepped up to being a very very very good player...was greatr tonight

I thought the 3 headed monster of Broad , Grimes and Astbury played well
They set up beautifully down back last night.

Astbury pretty much played as the spare, sitting just in front of Grimes.

Broad the more attacking out of the 3.

His improvement is just what we need down back with Alex out. Brave, quick, good overhead and good spoiler who usually makes good decisions. Back to his 2017 form.

I reckon his elevated hes game too

Broad is one of those players who, when a weakness in his game is apparent, instead of masking it over like some, he makes sure that he improves that area PDQ. Houli is another with that same trait.

I think he has made another step up. Now he knows he belongs. I can see him now being a first 22 regular for many years.

He’s a darn good player.

I remember pre finals 2017 he was a worry. Has come on in leaps and bounds.

No superstar, but does his job week in week out. Halved the contest a couple of.times with buddy last night. Big body bit like kmac. So important structurally.

One of his best games I thought. Signs of stepping up without Alex the Great available? Good game, Nath.

When he first came into the system he looked a long shot to be a good player at AFL level

Has improved each year and is now comfortable at the level.
