Well Nightcliff won their semi in the NTFL, Brodie was once again in the best, this week Finals Round 2 versus St Mary's, so good luck Brodie and the Nightcliff Tigers (y)

I can't see us getting Farrell, from what I've seen and looked at, not enough for me. We seem to have enough in that half-forward flanker role - SOnsie, Clarke, Gibcus, Campbell, Green, Rioli Jnr, Bolton, Dusty, Taranto, Trent can all go through there. I've got big wraps on Seth Campbell, reckon the Tassie boy is going to surprise quite a few. The boy can play man!! :eyesSorry man, but for me re Farrell it's straight through to the keeper, no shot played :censored:

Yeah true I read he went down there late in the year and did a good job.

"Although traditionally positioned in the forward half, Farrell also got a taste of the half back lines toward the end of the 2022 season, impressing coaches with his composure and pinpoint kicking ability."

Maybe, we'll have some spots as we'll have the over 30+ Vlos and Broad so will need to add to Rioli, Brown, Short and Baker, definitely need to get another 2-3 players for that slot.

What makes him stand out for a half-back dasher is that he is also a very good defender. Doesn't get beaten. And he has COMPOSURE.

Geez I was praying his wasn’t gunna ping a hammy when he was chasing OBrien in that last quarter.

He was amazing tonight. Incredible and one of our few players who can kick the ball properly.

IMO he has made Short's role in the team redundant. Short just hack panic kicks and more often than not the ball comes straight back over his head. Also does not go when then the contested ball is to be won; total sheep dog.

I'd be happy with him in the VFL. Marlion and Kmac on the wings. Danny the running distributor off half back.
