Welcome to the Tigers - Daniel Rioli

Ralph Carr is a dangerous man re trying to manage lists , less Carr clients we have the better , yes I know his job is best deal for his client , but *smile* he’s going to cost us players by holding us to ransom with his stable

I don’t know about that.

Dusty took unders to stay, relative to North’s offer. Carr then managed to fill the gaps with his off field marketing acumen.

If he does the same for Bolton, we’ll be laughing.

Re Rioli and Chol, no issue with them putting off contract talks. Both need to focus on playing better footy.

I used to think the same thing, ShinyBum. But I reckon, having seen what he's done over the past 5 years, that he knows his stuff and how important on-field success for the Tiges is for all his Richmond clients.

I'd play Rioli into form as a HBF, tell him what we can pay him, and if he wants out. Say see ya. Playing like he's unhappy.
The move to HB is money oriented I guarantee (not a Stig type guarantee).
Disharmony and contracts biting perhaps.

Disagree , Dusty got a heap more coin and more years because Ralph wouldn’t talk with Tiges , Shai had have signed when the first couple of offers were there , would have been cheaper then now even though form has dropped , now we are in a situation where we have to wait on him and will lose another player due to it . Rioli an Chol are different as there not in a demanding position and I’m not sure the club would be concerned if they wanted out . Carrs way may work for his clients , but it doesn’t work for the club

That's just factually incorrect re Dusty. He left $1.5 million on the table to re-sign. If it was all about the money he'd have left. To say this hasn't worked for the club is wrong.

Shai's entitled to wait, and certainly entitled to not accept the first couple of offers. Negotiation 101.

Your looking at it differently to me , Dusty left money on table to not go to North , he got more money from us towards the end because Ralph had put talks off , he also gained 2 extra years late , yes Ralph did his job for his client .
St Kev I understand yours any many thoughts on these matters , I just have a much different opinion to most on it

i think it was blair hartley saying the other day hes the best player agent for all concerned.

i like Ralph.

i treasure the memory of him, me and EZJ sharing an intimate moment together at the unveiling of the tigerland dusty mural GF week 2017

there was no doubt he was 100% invested in a tiger premiership

Na. It's getting a kick oriented.
He's out of contract and basically isn't getting the love to drive up his price. He's tired of chasing, has put his queue in the rack as the era is over, and wants to get what's "his" reward for doing the team thing for so long.

Nonsense.

Nonsense.
Go back to the start of the year, when Dimms said after his first demotion, that Rioli needs to go back and find the football again. He indicated there's mental fatigue at having to chase and do the defensive stuff. When was that about, round 4?

Yeah, that's fine. Agree with that. I just don't believe Danny's said play me there cos I want money.

Reckon Dan the Man could be a weapon at half back. Looking the best he’s looked in 3 years
