Bulter showed how to play the small foward roll, on the mini ground.
Rioli can't get near it on the MCG.

Our wingmen got cut up so bad that Broady was thrown onto Smith after half time to slow him down and did a good job.

He then also had to do some rucking.

Even George lined up on the wing to try and get him into the game.

Agree with all that. Broad is a power runner, as you say did a good job on Smith after Pickett just spectated his way through the first half.

Hopefully the experience shows Marlin what is required to be an AFL player.

He looked to be flying before the lockdown but has been terrible the past fortnight.
His stock & trade is his work rate & pressure. If that's not there he's a pretty easy one to drop.

I was concerned about Rioli last year but Konrads book reckons he was doing exactly as asked. Dunno, never been the same since returning from his broken foot. Not sure if it due to the foot or in his head.
