Welcome to the Tigers - Daniel Rioli

He hasn't kicked a goal against Collingwood in 4 games.
The caveman Maynard has kept him quite.
Big game tonight

it was mentioned on SEN today that Maynard has given him problems. But it depends on how you quantify output. Rioli has never been a big goalkicker.

Were your eyes shut during the 2017, preliminary?
No excuses. The biggest dud in AFL troubles him.

Think Rioli will have a cracking 2020 now his concentrating soley on footy, hope he rips it apart tonight!

What's he been saying?
The headline was ' A Magpies Defender Has Put The Clamps On Daniel Rioli In Recent Times'

The defender he is referring to is Maynard. Apparently Maynard was playing on Rioli for 28 minutes and during that time kept him to 1 disposal.

Maynard seriously.
Rioli eats him for breakfast.

I thought the same thing. He doesn’t even run at 1 goal per game. I’d imagine there are a bunch of clubs he struggles to kick goals against.

Rioli is the link between defence and attack. Losers like lambsburger have no idea what his role is.
Whats Lambsburger's article next week?
How RFC lose in Tasmania?

Rioli in finals

2017 QF - 0 Goals
2017 Prelim - 4 Goals
2017 GF - 0 Goals

2018 QF - 3 Goals
2018 PF - 0 Goals

2019 QF - 2 Goals
2019 Prelim 0 Goals
2019 GF - 1 Goal

4 finals of 0 goals, 3 finals of multiples. Eh. He’s pretty overrated, but plays a big role in our tackle/chase forward line.

As I said. Proven goal kicker.
There’s plenty going around who would be happy with that on their C.V

2 time premiership player.
99% the reason for being premier's.
Not sure he is Overrated

This would be close to the first time Daniel’s taken the field against the Pies 100% fit with all his team mates in the same boat I’d reckon.

Yep, played a big part In our flags through the role he plays rather than the impact he makes though. All in my opinion of course.

I rate him, but hes absolutely not in the Papley/Walters/Charlie Cameron class of small forwards that I think some supporters seem to view him in.

He really should have made a bigger impact than 71 goals in 78 games through greater consistency by now considering the very, very, extremely good team he’s played in over the past 3 years. He was playing VFL at one point last year don’t forget.

He plays his role well, no doubt. He’s 23 and the difference between his best and worst games should be a lot closer by now.

Betts/Milne/ lecrea/ Naish types come around once in a generation.
Rioli might not match them in goals but i bet he smashes them in tackles and pressure acts.
He suits our game style.
Nothing people say about him will ever change my opinion on him.
He is a star in my eyes....
