Genuinely surprised, SCOOP. Has kicking, pace and class; thought you'd be all over him.

I like him Spook. Just not completely sold in terms of getting the pill enough & if he can win enough of his own ball. That's my queries. Really like his step in traffic.

Re: Welcome to the Tiggers - Connor Menadue

Nah mate, he is single minded in his attack. And calm.

Well rounded player with a massive ceiling.

I see the finished product and what we are hoping for. And I have high hopes, just want to see him get more involved.

But a promising preseason, showing huge improvement, couldn't ask for more.

Most players of his ilk aren't huge ball winners, but in saying that his contested game will improve as he puts on size.

Nice one blxer, even the wallet couldn't spin that well.

If he's not already the best I50 kick in the side he's not far off.

Re: Welcome to the Tiggers - Connor Menadue

Some of the contested balls he won against Hawthirn were great.

Talk of net getting the hard ball is rubbish.

Re: Welcome to the Tiggers - Connor Menadue

For me he is the best story of the preseason, I'm excited about watching him play against the Blues.

Re: Welcome to the Tiggers - Connor Menadue

I think Xanadu should take Yazz's spot on the HBF.

Perfect replacement IMO. Pace, elite kicking and run out of the back line.

It's not inconceivable that Xanadu will render the Yarran trade for pick 19 redundant by mid-year, or by 2017. Hope not, but was concerned about this dodgy business from mid 2015 when I heard we were circling. Hearing even more now about what a really poor state of fitness he came with from the blues to us. RFC have sold a lot of spin which many have sucked up. Menadue has the traits to be the future in this role.

Re: Welcome to the Tiggers - Connor Menadue

A good half of football from Connor tonight. These inexperienced second year players are showing more commitment to the cause than most of the regular 1st teamers.
