Far too early to make negative predictions on.
He’s got some tools. Needs a full preseason as he was held back early this season and only training once per week for the first dozen games or so before they eased him into the full program

Pretty sure we drafted him because of performances as a h/b.

Why change it? play him to his strengths at h/b after all h/b is a role a lot of clubs bring kids thru.

Do players at just age 19 magically just lose pace. I don't think so.

Injury has clearly impacted that part of his game for now. Players get over injuries.

Not sure what more he could do to keep his spot given the circumstances surrounding him.

He probably was not up to afl speed this year but given his injury and the amount of work he could put in is there any wonder.
Despite this he managed to put in a damn decent vfl year.

There is more to this kid than pace and agilty.
We need to give him the time to succeed or fail i lean toward him making it.
