"Former AFL player Chris Yarran has been jailed for five years for a meth-fuelled crime spree across Perth, which included assaulting a policeman and trying to steal his gun."

Just read the story - what a bloody tragedy.
Life went out of control - saw little point in living - all meth induced.
Poor bastard.
Footy wise I had great expectations when we got him.
Now it's a raw fight for life for him.
 
Sad news ..
Meth is a scourge and its everywhere and it doesn't discriminate who it wants to mess up
.. and that includes the ripple effect on those that don't use it ..
 
Regardless that people have chosen to take a drug it is a tragedy and failure on our society that people feel so worthless and lacking in self esteem that they have to resort to drugs and ruining their lives. I feel sorry for him and this he has affected.

Much more complicated than just one pick. We traded pick #19 to Carlton to get Yarran

We got pick #19 by trading our 2015 pick #31 and our 2016 2nd round pick to the Suns

The Suns traded pick #31 to West Coast for Matt Rosa. West Coast used that pick to get Tom Cole

Our 2016 2nd round now at the Suns became #26. The Suns traded that pick and their 2016 pick #80 to the Bulldogs for the Bulldogs 2016 picks #35 and #43. The Bulldogs selected Patrick Lapinski with the first pick. Not sure what they did with the late pick.

The Suns then traded pick #43 and their 2016 #67 to Adelaide for Jarryd Lyons and Adelaide's 2016 pick #71

The Suns then traded pick #35 and Adelaide's pick #71 to Freo. Have lost track here but the trail here led to Geelong getting Tim Kelly

So we traded 2 2nd rounders that ended up being Cole and Lapinski.

Would have been good to name Lapinski in the forward line next to George.
