So if these changed eventuate, the 'traditional' policy of no.17 being reserved for the captain has been well and truly put to bed.

Any mention of Lambert? 15 or 21 perhaps?

Just looked at the notes from his draft year back then Chris was a forward mid maybe he has been recruited to help Shedda
I think he will play both forward and back during the season

Definitely plays his best (most damaging) footy as a high half forward/wing.

Carlton needed to play him in defence with their young list, as it was only Yarran or the boundary umpires who could get the footy out of the Carlton backline!

Seven goals on WAFL debut as a 17 year old suggests he has some sort of aptitude for the forward half. But the vexing issue of Bachar being our only attacking defender still exists. If one of the young blokes steps up it could allow Yaz to change the complexion of the forward half. Until then, he'll probably be down back.

Best position is attacking wing. Endurance the issue. Yarran, Cotchin, B.Ellis centreline is mouth watering.

Agree. But Richardson has said a couple of times, we have earmarked him for running HB role to help out Houli who has been a lone hand as a running defender. But I reckon Yarran is more damaging in the forward half and we have more need for him/his pace/his skill in the forward half as well. Hopefully it works itself out.

Could not agree more

Where is Yarran by the way. Starting to think he's a figment of our imagination?

Still undergoing the rigorous cleansing and purification program post CFC.

Had a horrible vision there of a Carlton detox program, not for the faint hearted or the children
