Leysy has a theme song to go with his name change.

Need someone to splice Yazza highlights into that clip along with Leysy Posts.

Sol glad we didn’t give up pick 12. Solid deal. Pretty fair.

I'd like to see Yarran played as the small forward. He's got that defensive side to his game. This is what Dimma had with Jake and it's what he wanted with Morris. Looking at Yarran's highlights and some of those chase down tackles, he'd be perfect for that pacy small forward with a defensive side to his game.

Yep. Get the talent where it's most needed.

I'm not sure he'll do anything for us - too mentally flakey for mine. But he does have talent.

Good idea. Here's a couple from yesteryear to cut in. ;D

He might get us there though CC. ;D

Seriously though mate, yes he can put a short one in so can see your point. But he has a rare combination of raw speed, skill & balance along with an ability to play anywhere that we so severely lack.

As a segue Leysy was looking for something to backup our lack of legspeed and ability to break lines. Here's one for the punters out there:

In our 3 losses the stats for running bounces are:

Richmond: 11
Opponents: 36

Chris Yarran has had 18.

Something in that for all of us so a random comedy from yesteryear said. ;D

Yarran would be the one for leysy.

While searching that these doozies came up. Sorry Spook ToO and Antman. Yarran knockers deserve to be outed though.

Ouch haha

Solid work there YD.

But in fairness, those quotes were made before we picked him up or they new we were even interested. Ability increases 10 fold when players come to us - look at the glowing reports on Moore now that we are interested.

Yazzy days is spot on about yarran.

Love fans will fall in love with yarran straight after his first withering run.

Add castagna to yarran and we will become the most explosive team off half back in the league.

Yarran is a massive get for the Tigers .

Think if we can get menadue, castagna, Drummond and yarran into the team it would really make us explosive.

Hope it happens

That's a bit rich coming from someone who thought Yarran wouldn't suit us to draft. I reckon he could have been quite handy the last few years actually. Though I can see why you thought he wouldn't suit us when we already had Oakley Nichols, Polo and McMahon.

Ziebells another good talent that would suit us. Yarran doesnt suit us but may go earlier. An A grade talent will drop to our pick. So long as we dont get fancy our pick 8's turned out well. Big difference between ours & say pick 10 this year.

Not such a massive difference with Ziebell at 9 and Sidebottom at 11.

I would have agreed in 2008 (7 years ago), Yarran wasn't a first priority for us. Inside midfielders and talls were our greatest need. Things have changed now though. For 2 x 2nd round picks, Yarran is a great pickup.

Yep all hypothetical to guess whether he would have suited us or not. I wouldn't have minded him out there in our last 3 finals.

Certainly would have been handy.

Have to agree with leysy's post back in 08' though unfortunately. Correct (hypothetical) decision in that draft.

Given we have now traded pick 19 for him as he enters the prime of his career, whilst also taking Ty Vickery at pick 8.

Appreciate your support with the post from 08'

Nice pull up from the past.
Happy with that.

Good to see Leysy agreeing with himself again.

If we were serious about bringing up Leysy quotes we'd focus on the Jacko and Cotch ones. :hihi
