Welcome Liam Baker

Mcluggage & Sammy Taylor signed on today on long term deals.
It wouldve been nice to have Bakers name alongside them.
Like others have mentioned if he dosent sign up by round 15/July
Its more likely he goes. We need to be compensated and compensated well.

It’s 50:50 and like me you’re having an each way bet. I personally think he’ll go , but I’m hoping you’re right. I wouldn’t take Gale to seriously as it’s obvious he will say this and not the contrary to the public , as like us he wants him to stay. Money talks , *smile* walks in the end.
I don't think money will be a driver, he'll get a decent offer from the Tigers. If he goes it will be the go home factor. In the meantime I hope he keeps playing the way he did last game. He was sensational.

Yes he got my five votes. We need his price as high as possible bc if he leaves we get a higher pick and hopefully an early first round one. 😀

Mcluggage, Sammy Taylor & today Heywood resigned.
What's Baker waiting for? Farewell game??
There's no Farewell game,

Mcluggage, Sammy Taylor & today Heywood resigned.
What's Baker waiting for?
fair question zips, Miller has re-signed too. What's with all the resignings today? Baker looks more likely to be gone by season's end unless he thinks he can increase his market value, which you'd think is unlikely. Doedee, for example has demonstrated waiting for contract terms to the end of the season can be catastrophic.

a bit of perspective, Dustin's 7 year deal was announced on the last day of AUGUST back in 2017.

We are currently in the 1st week of June

Why not? Good investment. $2mill buys you an average size home on say North Beach in Perth. Gale was confident he will be retained. We'll just have to wait and see but my impression of Baker is someone who would relish the challenge of nurturing and moulding the next batch of young players at the Tigers.
He may very well be tempted with the captaincy, it’s a great honor

Concur , we’re well placed to put up a market offer , it’s other factors that we uncertain, he did live several hundred km from Perth , so that’s not necessarily home , but I spose a few thousand closer than melb is

$2mill house on North Beach, maybe $1700 a week. Get yourself 10 mates, you might be able to rent it between you.
It will be the puntroadend home. We could all live in it.
You'll need to shatre a room with Zips.
