Welcome Judson Clarke

Yep needs to get more involved. But I'm happy to persevere; at least he can actually kick it to something like AFL standard. We don't have many with that skill.

Certainly prefer him to Hugo who runs fast and has a flowing mullet but not much else to offer.

Wing to free up Marlion, or half back for Hugo and play like Daicos - or back to 2’s

He needs to get stronger & develop a bigger tank for a start but with his kicking technique, at least we should persevere with him. I’d try wing for him rather than half back - not strong enough to defend.

I only see another Naish.
I'm sorry
Lololol It's only his second year and has only played 6-7 games .

Let's see how he's going in 2025,before bagging him out.
Im sure people think the young player's are robots ,programmed to have 5years plus of experience STRAIGHT AWAY.

He was well off the pace for the bulk of the game. He did kick a crucial goal and kept working. Most of our children were off last night. But they had a few more experienced mates.

All children are batting too high. Juddy no exception. They get more time and development.

I rate his foot skills well above Fiora and Naish.. but lots to do physically. He does have that rare ability to find the goals where some others can’t and at crucial times. His goal last night was sublime. To me i reckon he will be a slow burn due to his size. But I have a feeling he will get there in a few years.

I think Clarke went athlete's and ball users with his 2021 draft picks rather than competitors. Juddy, Brown and Banks will need to find sufficient ability to compete to make it as AFL players. Not everyone can be a Bakes or Cotch but it's the main thing those three need to work on.

How is a kid who has played under 20 games embarrassing?
Try actually watching the game would be awesome idea . In particular the 3rd Quarter when the swans played “ walked “ through the stoppage and then walked through a Juddy Clarke marshmallow attempted tackle and kicks an easy goal . Yep . Should have been subbed out there and then . That’s no being a Richmond man .Half the team have a genuine crack , the others play like marshmallows, jump out of the way , refuse to chase . Last night was an embarrassment. Left to too few . No wonder McIntosh was arguing with team mates in last quarter . Juddy might have certain skills but you get judged by your actions when you don’t have possession of the ball , he was embarrassing. Don’t believe me , watch the replay

Smart athletic footballers, Dev. Except Sonsie, who is less athletic but still light. They're all light.

Juddy and the cubs were the biggest disappointments for me last night , need them to take steps now , in saying that keep playing them , they can play

Second year players should almost always be considered ensemble rather than main cast. That will come. For now it's cameos on the main stage and vocal projection training before they can take on speaking roles. Juddy already has a nice speaking voice but needs to work on some of his blue collar accents.
