Welcome Judson Clarke

Decision making led to skill errors. Needed to go with deeper, longer options both times.

Has speed and skill though, which is what we need.
He played well- the 2 turnovers early were from not raising his eyes- the kicks were almost there- he just didnt see the doggie defenders coming across for the easy intercept.
Other than those 2 he used the ball well, and run hard. should keep playing.

Patrick Naish part 2
Dime and dozen footballer.
Not fast. Not a accumulater.
Shouldve kept Bulter.
At least he pressure's and tackles

But they were the type of fwd 50 entries a lot of posters have been calling for: low penetrative kicks to our forwards rather than big high bombs to packs. Shame the first 2 were cut off but his 3rd kick was sublime.

Nothing wrong with Clarke's ability to drill low trajectory bullets, that is his strength & a few intercepts shouldn't be cause for concern. Plenty to work with here folks, Judson is part of our future so let him settle in and at least reserve judgement until he's served a 50 game apprenticeship.

Agree. Takes the game on, those low kicks that whip through zones quickly are invaluable. Still very slight but wasn't afraid to compete in traffic. 20 touches, 5 tackles, 1 goal, is a massive tick on the day. Perfect skill set for the half-forward role. Kids not the issue yesterday.

Needs to get the footy on his hands around the arc, can hit up targets or if free take a ping.

Its one of the parts of the gamne that Chris Knights was fantastic at, he'd peel off around the 50 and was deadly shooting at goal or hitting up a team mate on the lead, sheer class and made the Tigers a better side when he was playing.

Sadly we only saw it for a handful of games before those 2 catastorphic injuries.

Will be a player, of that I am certain.

But tonight he was bad.
Yep. As against Hugo, went into the oblivion. Needs to show himself in attack and crumb the ball. These are the players to criticise. Easy shot for the goal from HF and f*cked up any chance of us winning just before they started their run of goals.

We need to find a way to get him more involved. What he did he did well. 4 stoppage clearances but only 11 disposals suggests he's doing well enough to win his ball, but not getting involved in enough chains.

Only played 60%, is he not fit enough? I'd like to see him swapped with Hugo, much rather Clarke getting some of those handball receives as his disposal is so much bette than Hugos.
