Welcome Josh Gibcus

Imagine having to completely change your body mechanics to avoid injury?

Might be fine in a training situation but in the heat of an AFL game muscle memory will be hard to hold back.

Can see why they're in no rush. I'm still tempering expectations tbh.
Been done by plenty a fast bowler, from Dennis Lillee to Pat Cummins. No doubt it will take training the muscle memory. Slowly slowly catchy monkey.

Spot on 💯 don't get me started on last year's preseason it was amateurish the coach was even there for the first month or so and you got a fitness and conditioning department with no idea.
there were coaches all through preseason.
THere isnt always a need for the top coach to be there. I'm sure he oversaw it.
Gone are the days of one coach running training and dictating the fitness requirements

Dimma did it last couple of seasons way to often. The head coach should be there driving standards and coaching with the coaches around him backing him.

Particularly when what the head coach was implementing was not working on game day!!!!!

That is weak and unacceptable behaviour by the head coach.

David Rath said that they taught Cyril to run differently to get him running quicker

They're specifically trying to teach Josh how to bend down & grab the ball differently among other movements. Of course I hope it works but footy ius just so demanding on body movement, you need complete trust in your body so as you can handle any situation at any given time. Anyway fingers crossed eh?

Head coach should be there from day 1 or close too, driving standards. That’s bs.

I think he'll play forward in 2024. We'll hope at least 2 of Kosi, Gibcuss, Lynch can get on the park at any one time.

Balta will only go down there if injury gods truly hate us. Young's development gives us this luxury.

He wasnt there in 2017 and it worked just fine.
Like any organisation there are people with the appropriate expertise and thet should be entrusted to do their jobs.
I also fail to see how us punters can properly evaluate the situation from outside the fence.
Anyway the kick Dimma posting has been done to death. You're accompanied by a couple of trolls and its giving them oxygen.
He's now gone so I'm gunna focus on Ooze and looking forward to 24

Each to their own. His flags don't mean he doesn't justify copping criticism my point. Some here reckon his untouchable.
