Welcome Josh Gibcus

That hamstring is just about the most important thing at the club going forward

He’ll be fine

Our last 2 captains had worse injury starts to their careers and they turned out okay

And we won a flag with prime Rance injured, so 1 player’s health is never make or break for the club

Hope so, though I’m not sure Cotchin or Grimes injuries were worse

You don't play footy at 85% running capacity, after being out for the year with his hammy that piece of info is pretty irrelevant, he has gotten to 85% several times this year only to falter.
Geez I hope they find the solution.
Yep. 85% is the easy bog average bit. It's the last little 15% that's the make or break bit. Gibber is only a youngster, so hopefully with a bit of specialist rehab n training program he comes good for the future. Sadly things could turn career ugly very easily for him.

A stkilda player has been sent to Germany.
Soft tissue issues but he is 27.
There is a likely hood Gibcus could miss the entire season.
*smile* we walked under a ladder, kicked a black cat and broken 1000 mirrors

I hope Gibbo's trip to the middle east pays off. Not sure why we opted against the same German doc that worked on Grimes as well as McKenzie is going to now.

Not all injuries in the hamstring are the same, the club would definitely have done its due diligence in regards to the best place to send him. The facilities in the middle east are absolutely world class, he'll be getting a super high level of care

Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt may be considered an old fart at 81 and no longer deemed "relevant". We shall see how McKenzie and Gibbo's treatment outcomes come to pass.

Interestingly has already treated Mark Coughlan, Max Rooke, Ben Reid, Dylan Grimes, Jordan de Goey, & now Daniel McKenzie (currently St Kilda).
