Welcome Josh Gibcus

Gibcus is showing plenty early & there's lots of positives but is still finding the pace of the game a little.
I have no doubt he'll be a player & it's exciting but like with any young tall there will be some bumps along the way.

If Vlastuin is fit he walks back into the team. If.
He is a Harry Taylor type not at 24 but at 19 years old.
He is a beauty.
P.s He should be priority number 1 to resigning him long term.
He won't have a issue moving interstate if a club comes for him.
*Born in Queensland moved to WA and then to Bendigo.

Looks AFL ready. I don’t see much point developing him in the VFL, he’ll learn more and develop faster playing with the big boys. Lock him in for round 1.

The way they have used him this pre season gives every indication he will be playing.
He may not have got a run on Saturday if Vlastuin was playing.
They both play similar roles as the intercepting rebounding defender

He has a first gamer's body, but a 200 gamer's composure.

I also saw some Grimesish tenacity. And a young Jack's leap?

Excited.

Tenacity... more important than anything they can measure at draft camp.

I like what he does but he is still in the learning phase for me so not quite ready for first team yet. No doubt he will be two or three months down the line after a bit of honing in VFL. We sure got lucky with out draft picks!
