Mental minnows.

Id say physical minnows as well.

one of the least physical, low pressure QF's I can remember .

Felt like a round 3 game

Ive seen more physicality in a local, mixed, masters AFL 9's game

And to think they are going after 29 year Jack Stevens who will be 30 in march next year
Also into Higgens the Roo who will be 32 start of next year. Good footballers but will be suspect in the finals cauldron. What about Rohan always getting injuries and never performed in the big games in September

The gutless media was too scared to ask scott any decent questions.
Zips questions,
*You must be under pressure now,
*do you fill your negatively playing here set up failure.
*do u think that you have taken this side as far as it can go.
*what part of recruiting Rohan you didnt know he doesn't preform in September

Yeah I would have loved that but to be fair they have another chance. Those questions can come when they lose next week.

Mind you, they could have asked "you finished on top and already blew half of your double chance - gonna play a ruckman next week against NicNat?"

Still shaking my head at Collingwood.

Start of round 23 they are no chance, then West Coast implode and gift them a top four spot against the most vulnerable side, now they are in the box seat for a grand final berth.

And good for them, they are taking their chances as they present. What they've done well is run back into form as the finals approached after have a shyte couple of months.

I think both Geelong and Brisbane are the pretenders in the top four but we'll see tonight.

The problem for Salty is that he has 5 ruckmen on his list but they are all *smile*. Seriously *smile*.

*smile* me to be honest. This time of year its just about as luck matters as much as form and ability. Both those a-holes couldnt have lost I guess.

Wells did really well with Kelly, Bartel, Chapman, Enright.
But in the last couple of years he las lost the plot, dahhouse and the weasel from the swans and now apparently he is chasing Goldstein.
Geelong are in big trouble. I think Taylor has been a fantastic marking defender, but it’s all over.
Hawkins, unless it’s lace out, forget about it.
Kelly, front runner
Ablett and Selwood finished

Scott might get Geelong from top 4 to bottom 4 very soon.

It’s up to us.
We lose, we might else pack it up for this year.

He’s a Scott. This is the same tactic his brother tried at #lolnorf

After losing against us, they were on the ropes. They needed one more loss to knock them out, but they needed up with GC and Melbourne. I think the win against west coast in Perth is the one that got them a top 4 spot.

Yep... and they only just fell over the line then, but they did get over the line. Still see them as our biggest threat this year.

One tread Collingwood need to fix is these fast starts and crawling to the final siren.
I’ve lost count how many times they get to a 30+ point leads only to get over the line one by small margins.
A Brisbane/Collingwood GF will be a one sided game similar to port in 07, Melbourne in 2000 & 1988
We as much as we have been good this year, we have had jack & Lynch in the side together now for 7-8 weeks. We should’ve been putting sides away and we won’t be in the position we are tonight playing against a inferior side on there home deck.
I don’t go with if we ‘loose’ we are still ok bulllshitt either. We don’t rebound well after loses.

Not without degoey.
They haven’t got the fire power without him.
Imagine grimes on Elliott
Astbury on Milocheck
Big V on Forskin elliott

That forward line doesn’t scare me.

Fair point on De Goey. Went down to the rooms midway through the 2nd. They only kicked 35 points after quarter time.

They'll be taking a risk if they put de Goey out there again. GF best case scenario for him I reckon.

They will bring back Varcoe, but the cupboard is bare for anyone else...Wells? Dacios?? Beams?? OBree

Yes, because things always stay the same in footy. Especially over twelve months.

Didn’t I just list how things have changed for us personnel wise?

Ah.

So what you're saying is they temporarily got over the top of us, but ultimately, we have the better club, culture, administration and list, so we will be better in the long run.

Sounds like something someone else said...
