Umpire farce - Getting worse by the minute!

What about the Clarke goal in the last quarter?
Marking contest - Lynch get clothes lined too high by de konning - play on
Kolojazni picks up ball, takes on Jack, Jack tackles, Kolojazni drops the ball - play on
Clarke picks up the ball and snaps the goal
The ump standing 10 meters away - see's nothing. I saw both from the other end of the ground.
It's either pure incompetence or pure cheating.
Lynch was held around the neck in the marking contest. Play on.
Then Lynch was grabbed around the neck competing for the ball. Play on.

Twice, Geelong players (sniping dog Cameron and cheating dog Selwood) held players down after free kicks were rewarded.

That's 50m

We cop 50 for not throwing the footy back immediately.

Teams know they can do this crap against us.

That umpire should be investigated by SafeWork Victoria. What an absolute knuckle dragger
Great call Willo.

I wonder if we need to do something like this.

Something really drastic just to make a point that the club is fed up with getting reamed by the AFL constantly.

They'd listen if Stewart was up on assault charges, or tiger fans officially boycotted a game, or our banner this week just said "*smile* you Gil, we're done"

Last free kick that cost us the jack mark and the game, de koning not even looking at the footy. Why can't Lynch move a guy that's clearly blocking his run at the footy?

Umpire couldn't pay a free kick quick enough.

If in a decade or so, talk of routine match fixing involving our games emerges I won't even bat an eyelid.

Just on frees we don’t get - am I right that we didn’t get one when Danger took out Floss in the GF? I also don’t think we got one with Prestia. Wasn’t the free for the hold on Graham?

Correct. Free for the hold on Graham. In the same breath the other umpire tells Stewart he is reported for rough conduct.

In the granny, no free to Vlastuin and then in the subsequent further play no free to Cotchin when GAJ throws the ball in Cotchin's tackle which results in GAJ getting a broken (or reinjured) collarbone.

We should fine the AFL for a rotation error as the game had 17v18 when Prestia went down. Hypocrits.

McIntosh also concussed against Sydney last year and no free kick, there is a pattern.

When Bakes was hit high and had a concussion test, Lyon was amazed, he sounded like a Richmond supporter, 'how did he not get a free for that?'

Lynch shouldn't have to move a guy who is holding him away from a marking contest, same thing happened with May when we played Melbourne.

PAY THE F*CKING FREE.

Why do they only rarely pay this, it is an absolute blight on the game. I reckon I could come up with at least 20 instances of this every week and they pay a few at random, and a fair number of the frees they pay in this situation actually go to the defender who was holding back the forward. Plus, they are holding back the forward, holding them away from the pack, as in, it is really easy to see especially when there are 3 maggots on the ground to see it.

FFS it is a joke.

No doubt umpiring cost us the match

1: Reversal of the Riewoldt mark.
2. the deliberate call v Ross. Goal scored on the rebound
3. the soft 50 against Hugo. goal scored.
4. Harsh holding the ball 2nd quarter v Graham ( I think). Goal scored

Not to mention the inability to award 50 for clear infringements to impede us from playing on and 3 cases where the stand rule was clearly breached.

Finally, why do we seem to always be called to play on much quicker than other teams.

AFL & Scott have ticked off in relation to not stopping the play when Prestia was being assisted by two trainers and play continued for at least two minutes and they scored a goal.

All good folks. Play on !
