We need more Richmond representatives in the media, cotch and Jack are a good start, might be able to change the media narrative

I see Cotch and Jack have books coming out in November.

Can't wait to read both of them, but I hope Cotch's gives some good insights in to him as a captain. Would be fascinating reading.

The covid bubble caused alot of issues for cotchin and his family.
The shitt Brooke had to go through was over the top and extreme.

Maybe if he was at preseason we wouldn't have run out of legs.
This is me just guessing, he wanted to leave last year. Gale convinces him to stay and tells him to go away and freshen up. Before he leaves he tells Hartley bring in midfielders.
while he is away the offers start coming in, to coach Port, GC even Essendon etc.
By the time round 1 came around, Lynch wasn't ready, he didn't care. Gibcus rips his hammy. He can see the group have had an average preseason. The loss to the Doggies and to lose Lynch in the same game, was the start to his end. When we lost to Essendon, that was him saying without Lynch we aren't winning shiit. Here are the keys. I'm out.

If he wanted out they should have let him go then.
Cotchins book will tell us exactly how the end came.
When the players knew he wasn't really committed.
There are Richmond supporters that can't stand him how he left and how he is carrying on now.
I love the bloke personally, but it might be an Essendon thing, it seems from the outside looking in Hardwick is a Sheedy clone. It has to be him and no body else.
He pissed off McCrae Carcella & Leppich to stop the constant noise they were responsible for the change at the club..
He might have the keys to best group of kids, it means shiit. Let's see how he goes when they start walking out. Deledio was the only player that he wanted to stay that walked out in his 13 yrs at Richmond.
Gold Coast is a totally different proposition.

We wouldn't have had many wanting to play under him after saying this.
He shouldve left at the end of 2022.
He was burning all year, Screenshot_20231022_085234_Messenger.jpg

Noticed that Dimma gradually started turning up to match days, training and press conferences looking like he’d just got out of bed
Appeared unshaven looked like it was all a chore totally disinterested and he was

Interesting musings, Brethren!
Tend to agree.
Looking back now it does appear Beavis Bong was extracting the urine there at the end.
Arriving under a Cannabis cloud to collect the cash.
Heart not really in it.

That said, I still love him for what he did for this club.
Always will.

Benny has been a star and for the most part saved this club.
Only mistake though was not letting Dimma go when he first came to him.

Hindsight a wonderful thing.

Chimpah and the other seniors must have known something was amiss very early into this year.

I think 2020 with all the issues around that season, broke Hardwick. He, and the club, have never been quite right since.
