Trent Cotchin (Merged)

I remember his first game like it was yesterday.
A cold wet game at the MCG against Geelong.
Announced himself to the world.
A lot has happened since, including 3 Premierships, a Brownlow, a couple of JD medals and many highs and lows.
The only thing that hasn’t changed is his hairstyle. Still the best looking do to ever grace a football field.

First post in this thread pretty sweet and accurate.

"On an otherwise ordinary day--Trent Cotchin stamped himself as a future champion today. 25 touches in his 3rd game-given the chance to start in the centre at times -this bloke burn't the opposition -especially in the first half. He has the "it" quality that is hard to define--time, poise, pace ,2 sides to his body---the best 3rd game I have seen from an RFC player in maybe 15 years. Number 9--!! Wayne Campbell would be well satisfied!!"

Agree… he’s had more midfield minutes with Hopper out... but where does he go when Hopper comes back?
4 mids playing 75% game time = 3 full time mids. (Cotch can play a bit less, Taranto a bit more.)
Then Bolton runs through there and the others spend a little time up forward. Easy.

best wishes for your 300th Trent. You still have what it takes to be an AFL top player. Keep leading, helping our players. You're one of the greats. Will Dusty & Jack carry him off or Grimes and Nank?

I was there that day. When you see a kid start like this, you always hope, but I don’t think anyone could have imagined what would happen.

Trent will be on 360 tonight and Jack will be co-hosting, so maybe the one time some of us might want to tune in.

Hopefully I'll be going to his 300th game on Saturday (depends on a family function schedule).

After today's Tribunal decision it may be the last game I go to. I'm afraid footy's becoming a joke.

It will be a privilege to be there Saturday night for a rolled gold Tiger legend's 300th.
We have found some connection and form just in time. Go Tiges.
