Trent Cotchin (Merged)

Retire for the good of the team.
No point in retiring now. We ain’t taking more than 1 pick in the mid season draft and we’ll have 2 spots when Tarrant pulls the pin in a few weeks time.

He is capable insurance if used every 2nd game

Club is putting personal accolades ahead of what’s best for the team….however I do think Cotch deserves his 300th. The guy has given everything for the club and us supporters. The least we can do is get to that exalted status of a 300 game player.

Tried, but again too slow, can’t chase. I ate humble pie last week, but looking to be an aberration. Probably ok when the ball is stuck in our forward line, but when it’s coming out we’re in trouble
Too often oppo defenders just ran away and created an outnumber. He wasn’t alone there, Jack, Dusty, Dion, Graham, Ryan is treacle slow. Just look at the drug go defenders stats. Midfielder numbers.
His 300 can’t come fast enough

He’s now at 296 games - four to go to 300. He’s lost his pace but still an effective user. Club great, so no begrudging from me about him getting to the milestone.

What happens after that will be interesting. The season is shot, so may be time for younger player to have his position for the remainder of the year. Otherwise he keeps going as a type of onfield coach. I’m sure Trent and the club will work out what’s best.

Didnt seem to do too much coaching in those final minutes. Was as effective as Lynch last night who was in the stands

Found Mansell with the pass that should have sealed the game.

Mate I’m almost 60 & didn’t think I’d live long enough to see one more flag let alone 3. I’ll be forever grateful to Cotchin as a fantastic leader and three time premiership captain. If you don’t like my thoughts, that’s fine. Block me as I will you.

Cotch is gone and unfortunately is not worth a spot in the team.
We owe him a lot but imo we play him as sub for the next 2 games and pick him for his 300th and then he should retire.

The season is shot.

Chimpamania MUST get the 300, its criminal to not get him there.

We padded Sheds to 300 last season and he was a passenger.

If Shane gets 300 our possibly greatest ever 3 x premiership Skipper gets there too.

Cotchin and JR8 are 2 of the greatest players to ever play for the RFC,

Respect and Thanks is what they get from me.
