Congrats Captain courageous on your 200 th game tonight.

Hope the boys win for you and you are BOG.

Completely agree NMW. Well done Captain Cotchin. 200 games is fantastic achievement.

See they allowed his wife and kids into the room after game.
What? No way!
They should have locked his family out.
I would I have told them to go home
Doesn't deserve to see his family after that performance.

Yep you don't spend a night in hospital for migraine then be good to play your best footy a couple of days later. We missed having the real Cotch out there.

Then he should not have played.

I get migraines a couple of times a year and they are debilitating and I'm usually bed ridden for 24 hours and then useless physically for another 24-48 hours and then impaired for another few days. Mind you I don't get hospital treatment for mine as they aren't the unbearable pain versions but rather vision impairment for the first few hours then a heartbeat correlated thumper headache which tails off over the next 5 days.

I've read that there are drugs that can be taken to reduce the intensity and length of impairment so Cotch may well have been 100% by game time. But he was below his usual standard and the migraine may well have contributed.

In hospital three nights ago but all clear to play.........

This is another leadership lesson for him, put his hand up to play with the best of intentions. Few injuries, 200th game and the Grand Final rematch, reckon he felt like he had to play.

He didn't. And there would of been no shame in not playing.
