Sweet n innocent off the field, found himself the perfect dollop of hard edged mongrel leader once the ball gets bounced. The growth in the last twelve months has been phenomenal.
It won't be long before he is one of the most hated players in the AFL.
But his team mates love him.
The coaches love him.
And we love him.

Leysy didn't quite get it right when he said Chimp would be the best footballer to walk in our doors for a generation.
Whlst he is a champion footballer Dusty and Rance will beat him to the punch.
He is though, the best leader we've had on the field for decades and one of the greatest in our history.

Our players are now more mature and the 3 leaders in Rance,Riewoldt & Cotchin have alot more support with the team maturing, Guys like
Grimes,Astbury,Vlastuin,Caddy,Prestia,Grigg,Houli are all now leaders and they also take up responsibility and drive expectations.
With more support in the midfield as well from Graham,Caddy,Prestia,Lambert i believe the opposition will be to occupied in stopping our outside run and will have less focus on tagging our inside mids and this will allow Cotchin more space and freedom to take his own game up a noth
