If Dylan Shiel was concussed, it could have been from the head bump he received in his clash with David Astbury just before quarter time, not the from the clash with Cotchin, which hurt Shiel's shoulder not his head. How do you get the MRP to take note of this if it reviews the Cotchin incident?
Played like a man possessed. There was no way he was going to get beaten tonight. The run to Lids before celebrating with teammates showed what a classy leader he is.

What the incident many times and if you look carefully Shiel ducks his head just before impact so for me Cotch is completely in the clear. BEllis however may have a case to answer
Both clear, going for the ball, move on, cotchin should not even be a issue, short can do Ellis role quite well.

Late last qtr. MCC Members wing. Ball in disput and Davis (I think) is about to grab the ball close to the boundary. Through sheer force of will Cotchin runs past 2 other Giants and nails him and takes him over the boundary. That piece of play typified his finals series.

I can't see how Cotchin s hit caused concussion. At the game I watched him afterwards the hit and he wasn't groggy in any way, but he was very concerned with his shoulder and holding it. That's where the impact was. I agree that the media is beating it up. Makes a great suspense story.
