Training For 2023

Today Wednesday Training/Team Health Check :

My training reports have been done to death so now that Practice Matches are upon us people can see for themselves and my work is done.

Very good news from today:

Broady: said he wll be good to go for the Melbourne game at Casey.
Sonsie: said he also hoped to play in the Melbourne game, (As previously mentioned by @Jonesracing82 it was a slight hip flexer that he has been dealing with the last month, did ball warm-up work today and then a power of running).
Riewoldt: Who on here started that injury rumour? he ain't got one :)

Lynch, Graham, Grimes, Prestia : These are the names you want to see getting through a full session unscathed and they did:)

Picket:: pulled out of training after warm-up, pointed to his groin and then did about 6 laps of jogging. (I am not declaring it an injury as he didn't seem that restricted but will see if he lines up against North on Friday).

Just an Observation:

Kaelan Bradtke: Showed a little bit of strength in the contest today which is promising as I thought it may have been a reason for his previous non drafting? Anyway just something i went away happy about.

Cheers
Good to hear the news on boys recovering from injury.

FYI - The injury rumour regarding Riewoldt was started by Mark Stevens.

Thanks for all the updates over the pre-season!!

The so called crystal ball prediction for 2023 re Tigers.

RICHMOND

TAB projected season-win tally: 13.5

The verdict

CLARK: Over

GARDINER: Over

With an extra home and away game this season, predicting the number of wins needed for top 8 and top 4 will be tricky.

With 22 games 15/16 wins was needed for top 4 and 12/13 wins for the 8.

From a mathematical point of view, 1 extra game adds about 4.4%. That amounts to potentially an extra half a win needed. But it’s never that simple. Fixture, percentage, and the number of games the lower teams win are also factors.

We should be targeting 16+ wins I would suggest.

When they build Dimma's and Dusty's statues, it would be an absolute travesty if there was not a third statue of Ceaser!

Jack just probably had a quick scratch of the plums and Mark Stevens has gone 'GROIN INJURY'.

I think its more they were asked by their overlords to increase their click volume, so over to the mystery boxes they went, hand goes in, pulls out a ticket that says Jack Riewoldt, then hand in the other mysetry box, pulls out a ticket that says hammy, so reports Reiwoldt has done a hammy. Everyone clicks on article, or listens to the radio for more news, but there isn't any, but clicks / listener numbers stay elevated. Job done. Ignore that they said it. Move on, and when its time for the mystery boxes to come out its back to the boxes they go.

Sorry Stevo, I've outed his "journalist sources".

@caesar makes any thought of voting for PRE Poster of the Year completely redundant.

Note Ian there is not report of any injury to JR.
Think that must have been the poster taking the mickey.
You wouldn't know with our club. Sonsie only just out of rehab after a month and no mention of it in any of the clubs reports.

He probably had a hip flexor tendonitis type issue which I guess is technically not an injury. Or he might have had that common one - general soreness. :ROFLMAO:

George Clooney eat your heart out!
Our Caesar is BEST!!
