Training For 2023

He played forward toward the end of last year and did it reasonably well. If he comes on there (and as a pinch hitter ruck) it solves a massive positional headache for us going forward. I like it
I think Miller's Junior footy was mainly ruck, resting forward too?

With MRJ and Clarke up forward it probably means Castagna will find it hard to get a gig there.
They are training him up to fill the Gibcus role this year. They like his cool decision making and precision shoe off the half back line.

Trained him as a defender for 5 years now switching him forward? That’s not a good sign.
I think Miller and Balta have both proven they can play back and pinch hit in the ruck, but ideally you want your pinch hitting ruckmen forward and a settled defence.
Gibcus no doubt can play defence, that Dimma in only Josh's first year threw him forward a couple of times shows that he see's forward possibilities there in future as well but defence is a good breeding ground whether his future is forward or back.
Biggie far from proven, but faired pretty well in his debut game.
Tylar Young not proven but be prepared to be surprised, (pure defender for mine).

That Miller MAY? have been chosen as the preferred option to have a genuine crack at the much needed fwd/ruck position I see as a positive for him, he can always go back.

Will it solve the puzzle?, don't know but I reckon there are enough puzzle pieces above to find a solution.

Miller will keep Soldo out of the team if he can make a go of the resting third tall forward/ relieving ruck

What I really liked about that little video is the way they both enjoyed themselves. One of the things in the 17-20 era was the enjoyment of the game. I reckon it frees the players up a bit, takes a bit of pressure off. Would like to see more players enjoying themselves while playing footy.

So Seth and Juddy the two I posted yesterday would be competing for the Lambo type role.
These 2 i just knew would be thick as thieves and close

Both similar types with similar traits

Lets hope they really run a muck on the ground for years to come

" Yes Poor George"
Hope the tattoo business picks up

Seth & Juddy at it again post training goal kicking this morning, I heard them saying this is for double points when shooting from the boundary so yeah they have a thing going on.
