True, just really curious to see where some guys are lining up in match sim eg Short, Balta, Gibcus, Baker, Miller to name a few

A couple of Saturday training notes :

I really don't want to say it and let him go quietly about his business and let people be pleasantly surprised but Duz looking pretty awesome
MJR is the fittest he has been.
I'd like to get Hugo in the side his running and overlap is elite, just hoping some of the other facets of his are improving along with it, I am sure they are.
Shai returned to Melbourne today I think so I have eye candy to watch next week;)
Briefly spoke to one of our football guys on Gibcus and said he was looking impressive and looked like he had put o few kg's, he said yes especially put on size around the thighs.
Narkle does have skills.
Banks looking a bit bigger, impressive in his delivery.
KMac back minus the Yeah Yeah!
Juddy buzzing around, (now there's some kicking skills you would like to get in the side), hoping he can add to his tally of games at some point in the season.
Ben Miller really is a big unit now and an exquisite kick, I can only see him improving on last year where he finally gained some confidence and i reckon he now believes he belongs at the level, (position still to be defined).

Steely and Seth look like bloody identical twins so hard to distinguish but I think Seth is looking the best out of the 3 recruits so far.

Absent Today:
Hopper
Tigga
Lynch, (this will be the last time i will mention Lynch for awhile as the club has confirmed he won't be back with the main group till much later in pre-season).
Colina, i am calling experiment over, no training pre-xmas and missing post, don't think his body will stand up to the game and I already had doubts after the very limited VFL evidence from last year.

Rehab:
Grimes
Short
Graham
Tylar Young

Well done Julius. I noticed Steely Green in a lot of the pics shown, so might be a R1 debut?

Got Leonard Teale’s autograph when I was a kid when they filmed an episode of Homicide around the corner from our place. I ran away from Norman Yem - he was too scary.
You wouldn't have run away from Norman Yemm, scary or not. He just didn't bother chasing. From memory, he was formerly a top level 400m sprinter prior to his acting career taking off in H. From Wikipedia:

Sporting achievements

Norman was a professional track athlete for most of his adult life, winning 96 finals, including three races at the Stawell Gift. Yemm was also an Australian rules footballer, having played for Victorian Football Association (VFA) club Port Melbourne.[4][5][6]

He was a regular in the Dandy Dash on a Sunday in the VFA.

Heh heh - I was lucky then! But on the same hand - if my mum had got hold of him chasing me! And I had a sneaky recall it was Yemm and not Yem but was too lazy to check.

Seemed to have missed the story around Short .What is he in rehab for?

Teale may have been told his services no longer required?
Only spotted Narkle & Bradtke last two sessions.
It will be an easy decision for club to make they may be fighting for last list spot but not same position.
I need to see Bradtke in match sim before making a proper assessment.
