Training For 2023

Yeah, I have a hunch Young might play. Although I wouldn't mind seeing Samson let loose.

If the plan is for Miller to go back we'll know on Saturday.
Unless we win the midfield battle handsomely, I'd be pretty worried if it was Balta (flaky), Young (debutant) & our mid sized backs lining up against Curnow, McKay & DeKoening.
Tarrant may be older but he's still reliable if fit. It's not an ideal situation if he fails to get up.

Can't say for sure but wouldn't be surprised if they just went with TDK as their ruckman with Silvagni as back up. Pittonet is alright but they were too tall when he and TDK both played end of last year

When Pittonet was right in 2022 he was preferred ruck over TDK

Handscomb wearing the floppy hat while batting looks a bit like Deano, what a legend Deano was.

No wickets, 30 runs in the first hour. Just what the doctor ordered. The previous Test showed the calls to hit out before you get out to be folly, and these two are proving the adage that defence is the foundation of good batting. Both showing excellent defensive technique against the spin.

Grind away. Give them nothing. Ball by ball.

If our success this year depends on a fit Tarrant,

Id say we're rooted.

But i think we could play a back 6 of

Dow Ross Cambell
Banks Brown Green

And beat anyone.

With martin tarranto hopper bolton prestia cotchin pickett baker

In the guts, the ball wont go past halfway.
