Such a negative team, they play to lose. They proved against us they could play 6ft kpd's and still keep the score so low they were within 1-2 goals behind for the majority of the gamePretty much non existent down back

Yeah the entitlement mentality is starting to remind me of Essendon and its supporters. I hope they soon follow the same trajectory that Essendon has been on since 2001.Loving the cats commentary Ridley, cracking me up.
Hmm. The Dogs still have their pick 14 this year, which they don't really want/need.I’m very hesitant to post this but what the heck, Got told last night that the Tigers and Bulldogs are up to something creative. Not specifically a deal between clubs but they are both being very quiet & coy, something might surprise tonight as minor or major it could be.
I don't reckon you want to be without a first rounder next year.Hmm. The Dogs still have their pick 14 this year, which they don't really want/need.
Wonder if that somehow ends up in our hands?
Could it be our 21 + 36 for their 14?
Or maybe their 2020 first rounder for our 2021 first rounder ... a straight swap with perhaps some fiddling around the edges?
Couldn't have wrapped it up any better.Yeah that show is just terrible. That is the problem with Geelong; they are all about the individual. Do it for the little master. Dangerfield deserves a flag. Selwood is the greatest captain in history (how many flags as captain?). Chris Scott is the AFL version of Bill Belichick.
Morris, Ralph, King, Montagna. Absolute plonkers the lot of them.
I know this is a big call but after watching last night's show I think that Montagna has taken a clear lead as the biggest goose in the football media. All of Geelong, Port and Brisbane will win the flag. 12 teams will make the top 4; including the Dees!! Dodoro is the best list manager. St.Kilda is an absolute genius club; recruiting McKernan and chasing 125 year old Frawley are masterstrokes
He is an absolute *smile*.
Yeah I've heard that too. Not happy with that deal. He wanted to leave, the Saints wanted him, he was contracted, we should have got more or kept him. Not sure why we should give up a player that a major competitor thinks will make them stronger so cheaply. Higgins has been here only 3 years and we've supported him through his hardships; he hasn't earnt the right to call the shots.Higgo gone apparently. Pick 17 and a future 2nd in, Pick 21 and a future 4th out..
The deal is most likely Higgo for a early-mid 30s pick. He's a first round draft pick who has played 43 out of a possible 70 games in the best team of the past 4 years. And for most of last year he was unavailable due to a serious brain injury. It's a bit light on for us I reckon; we should have extracted more or kept him.Looks like round 1 swap with st Kilda which means we get 17. Great get.
Poor deal. If we have waited all this time to do a deal like this, should AT LEAST have been a future 3rd not future 4thHiggo gone apparently. Pick 17 and a future 2nd in, Pick 21 and a future 4th out..
What I meant is we shouldnt even be giving up any picks next year.Poor deal. If we have waited all this time to do a deal like this, should AT LEAST have been a future 3rd not future 4th
Reckon it really needs to be weighed up against the trade period and draft in its entirety. Do we still try to get further up the draft order and who do we end up with our first pick. I suspect we are reaching for a tall that might just be below the "Gold Class" in this draftWhat I meant is we shouldnt even be giving up any picks next year.
Best we should have done for a CONTRACTED Player (you can tell I'm pissed by the upper case letters), is:
swap of 17 and 21 this year
their 2nd and 3rd next year
Even then this is unders
we should have held out for a 1st next year or no deal. He's contracted ffs
