Been a big few weeks zipper!!How excited are the media
Big names like Ceglar, Kreuger, Xerri and Ladhams have been traded.
Stick a fork in me, im done
Would not put it past Doodo if he told Hill to use the “family” and “Welfare” line to get the deal done.Is it fair to say that Bobby Hill could have found his way to any one of 16 other clubs? Probably for less than Essendon offered even.
McCartney and Dodoro will be sharpening their knives for Round 3 next year. Everyone else will be getting the popcorn ready.
As a Hawk supporting mate just texted me - Trade period has more innuendo than Benny Hiil!Bobby Hill or Benny Hill? Never change Dodoro.
So much hot air. They built a studio set & have a radio channel..for this!I'm really pleased the AFL is investing heavily in 'Deadline Day'.
Much better idea than distributing money to the clubs so they can employ people to do productive stuff.
Need to ditch Continental Tyres as the sponsor and get Bendix Brakes on board.
The guy is a snake but the karma bus is closing fast.Would not put it past Doodo if he told Hill to use the “family” and “Welfare” line to get the deal done.
Would be a great cure for insomnia.Does anyone know if the AFL are releasing a DVD of trade period ?
Bobby Hill or Benny Hill? Never change Dodoro.
Maybe we needed to throw Ross and Aarts on the table to spice it up a few gears!!!So much hot air. They built a studio set & have a radio channel..for this!
Jabba the Hutchy won't be happy.
And they'll need constant reminders of which way they are kicking...and why they are out on the ground.Well, Geelong will be the only team in the competition that has to pure'e their oraanges before handing them out at half time!
Gilligan has killed the excitement that was this period. So much hot air. They built a studio set & have a radio channel..for this!

The AFL as a whole needs a revamp.Whole system needs an overhaul I think.
Clubs lack the balls to make aggressive moves so it needs to be shaken up.
Allowing clubs to trade players against their will and to buy existing players contracts would be a good start.
I'd also like to see salary cap be allowed to be used as trade currency.
Clubs aren't as open as 20-25 yrs ago.The clubs have always been too conservative. The system probably doesn’t work to allow for a bit more aggression but the clubs themselves are very timid as well.
Maybe there'll be a new AFL rule in 2022 to make this happen.Listening to Montagna you’d think at least 12 teams will finish in the top 4.
