Tigers v Hawks game day

Tiger players played like they know there is a 2nd wave of Covid-19 about to hit Australia, causing the season to be stopped and then called off.

Why put in when its for nothing?

I love Jack. But he is a very over-rated shot for goal.
Figures are worse than Richo’s I believe
No, used to be much better; it's all down to technique. He tries to stab it or kick it softly off two steps. It drifts off, fails to get the distance or just comes off the boot mis-directed. He no longer gers back off the mark, run 5/6 paces and drive through the ball.
Not sure why? Become slack, lazy or just too old/fatigued/can't be bothered any more!

Look. We've won 2 flags in 3 years, and we are resting on our laurels a bit. Simple as that. Up to the players to wake themselves up, or it'll go down a classic hangover.
Reckon there's a bit in that. We look like a team satisfied with it's achievements at the moment.

Makes me laugh 7 saying Clarkson Master plan beat us
We just played *smile*
19-2 inside 50s last qtr
It was amazing how much we actually clawed back in many of the statistical measurements by games end. Kick straight in the last and it was probably a 2 goal game. That said, first half effort was severely lacking.

Stack poor again found the ball but a million clangers and gave up 5 goals

Rioli is kissed on then knob offers sfa most weeks but never gets dropped

Pickett was invisible

Jack graham is too slow and he’s not even tackling

Out
Stack
Graham
Pickett
Rioli

In
Dusty
Balta
Dow
Kmac

Seems like he doesn't want to be on ground, not same footballer GF day. Just my opinion.

I thought we missed Brando’s run and carry amongst other things tonight.

Just showed some criminally bad efforts on Fox. Players showing no urgency, not working hard enough. There will be more like that too.

Also said the fewest tackles we've had since 2008.

I'm guessing a massive ticket is coming

Pickett is playing his fourth game! What’s some of teammates excuses? Rioli was absolutely useless tonight. Zero impact in any way shape or form.
No excuse for his lack of effort at contests; 4th game or 400th. He needs to put in or get dropped. He's no longer dominating skinny blokes on big grounds in dry conditions in the WAFL. I'm confident he can make it but he needs to work out what's involved in playing at this level. Apart from the GF he's basically been a bystander in his other 3 games.

But yes he had plenty of mates tonight.

Will not be going to the butchers tomorrow after that lot tonight. Set shots ,well the way they were executed you would think the smarties had the brass on the Hawkers.

AFL.com had Stack and Castagna in our best:      we must have been bad

BEST
Richmond:
Vlastuin, Grimes, Short, Stack, Castagna
Hawthorn: Smith, O'Meara, Sicily, Wingard, McEvoy, Mitchell

Too many players did not work hard enough. When they showed the top 5 players for distance run during the game there were no Tiger players. I cant recall that occurring for a long time... Either we're still working into fitness or a flu has gone through the club this week or we're getting a bit lazy. Either way we need to freshen up and do it quickly.

Gotta say, watching Lynch, Lambert, Prestia and Titch laughing and taking the *smile* in the rooms looks odd. Will be interesting to see what unfolds in the coming weeks

Half the team needs to be dropped. Half a dozen players in career worst form

Pickett’s not 19 or 20. He played like a lair tonight, thought he was in the WAFL. He just may be back there soon.

Fair enough ...he has played in what ....a grand final - which he played unbelievably well in and 3 of the strangest games in the strangest circumstances the league has ever seen. Personally I’m not putting a line through him after 4 games.

Im not confident at all.
The more i see of him, the more deficiencies i see.
Shocking kick.
Lazy and disappears for huge parts of the game

Considering the sample size, last year is hard to tell.
I love his story but the media street over the off season didn't sit right.
He needs to dish it off first instinct.
I think he played really well round 1 but this week I agree with a previous post that he played like a lair
