Switched to Bella given the pattern thankfully.
Used a bonus bet Bella into Lazzat in the next too.
Another great day at the track. How good is Flemington Cup Week!
Started shithouse but Another Wil got me going and got better from there. Atishu and Isthmus finished off a good day at headquarters.

Haven’t had a good look at the Cup field yet but like Chewing Gum in race 8 on Tuesday. Think she has a lot of talent and has form around the Wakeful winner yesterday.

Tradition dictates I have a bet, but if it was called the Lacklustre Stakes I would most probably keep my cash in the pocket.
Agree Mopsy, very underwhelming when Vauban and Buckeroo are favorites. No wonder JMac upset not running Via. She would have won by 10 lengths on this Bendigo Cup field.
Agree re: lack of quality in this Cup. As weak as can ever remember.
The positive is you can pen all but 7 in the field. Makes backing the winner and getting tri/first 4 a lot easier.

How about Scary in the Derby on Sat. Would have ended Leysy's marriage if it got up as doubt would be home yet.

I have a horse running in the Melbourne Cup tomorrow (okay a microshare) in Just Fine.
Think he might be in front the first time past the post. Hope he is close the second time. Unsure if can stay but he likes Flemington. Just hoping for a safe journey and him to do us proud.
