Thoroughbred racing

Hah hah hah…what a disaster. 0 from 5. Almost as bad as last year with the brain frosted old man’s absurd insistence that Hawthorn would finish last. Bloody hell. That was bad. Real bad.

Well, we could do a quick PRE collection to help him out (would probably only need $20 given how tight he is I reckon) or give him another half a dozen spins, but quite frankly I think one of those interventions is the best course of action for Nobet Pays. Maybe get his grandkids involved.

“Grandpa you are always crying when you bet. You are making us very sad. Please stop betting. You are not very good at it.”

Only old Senileford wouldn't count a 20/1 tip that runs second and pays $5.50 the place a losing tip.

Been death riding us, but been a loooooonnnnnggggg time since Nursinghomeford has been able to knock the Saturday Set after it set alight the spring with winning Saturday after winning Saturday. The silence was deafening.

Hopefully for his sake the 3 pennies he pulled from his purse and shakily passed to the TAB attendant on the Superbowl are well spent and can afford him an extra cup of English Breakfast.

Took you a while to surface Nobets ! Hah hah hah. Thought you might have set the retirement home on fire again or something. And give us a spell Nobets. Nobody’s getting excited over places in EW bats. As if they’re gonna offset all your other losses. No wonder you lose so much money with that sort of flimsy thinking. Now trot over to the weekly opposition game threads and you’ll see how tipping and winning money is really done. Just ask Smoker where i out dueled him all year long and won enough to buy one of the Hawaiian islands.

Into $1.60 Hawthorn for least wins. The $5 loaded up on looking a gift.

Old Abesimpsonford makes Leysy laugh. He He He.

Whaaaargh haaargh haaargh haaargh ! Between you and spoof, your endless bluster about Hawthorn was hilarious. Should put some of those posts into Goldposts.

The Saturday Set is IN!

Gotta love horse racing.

Flemington:

Race 7 - King Colorado. Should be wayyyy shorter than this. Simply too classy for this lot at $4.20

Race 8 - Private Eye. Know this horse better than my kids. Gets his right race shape today (track, ground, barrier etc) to go BANG. Trainer is a master for setting them for one and he has here. Fav obv danger but drawn a barrier that can be poison here and trial was just OK. $5 is a bet.

Randwick:

Race 5 - West of Dalby. Reckon the market has completely overlooked her. This horse has ability and on the up going from a class 1 to beating Abounding. Trialled up a treat and no weight. Well worth an E/W ticket at 80/1. Yes thats right.

Race 6 - Olentia. First up specialist who is trialling like she'll keep that perfect record. $2.80 is a great price against this lot.

Race 7 - Fangirl. Simply has the best sprint in this race by a mile. Drawn to sit wide and go BANG. Best of the day at $2.50

Race 8 - Mumbai Muse. Is on the up. Trialling great and maps better than his rivals. Great E/W bet at $8.50.

GL!!

Surely you can’t curse Fangirl as well today ? Surely ?

Fangirl wow! Go along way to see a softer win than that. JMac didn’t touch her and she destroyed a pretty good field.

Where was the traditional Saturday Set today @Leysy Days ??

Could have done with a steer in the right direction !

Wasn‘t a horror day by any means for me but some wise words would have been much appreciated !

It will never cease to amaze me how a little monkey on the back can hinder a 500kg equine athlete so drastically.

Wont scream from my wallet,

But some of the rides ive been seeing lately defy desciption of their utter incompetance.

How can you get stuck 4 wide at caulfield from barrier 3?

How can you run into a wall of horses down the flemington straight?

Some of these blokes could jump on dustin martins back, and prevent him kicking a goal 2:2 in the square against rhyce matheson with a little a bloke on his back

1 from 11 is the right direction ???

Well, I suppose it all depends on how you look at it.

In Leysy we trust, or treat em as scratchings.

Everyone is free to pick and choose. I’m a little unsure which way you would lean Red ??

leysy was in a serious flow state last spring.

if you get an opportunity to peek through those windows, you take 'em.

I had a long sustained period of success with several flow states that waxed and waned that coincided with RFC dynasty

they can be like bushfires generating their own weather.

but I've been dreadful since.

I think I just used up a life allocation.

haven't really gone chasing it. lowered my stake 10 fold and

if tigers don't beat GC round 0, I'll surrender

Romantic Warrior will trot in, in the Hong Gold Cup in less than an hour eZyT, will be short, but better than bank interest.

Absolutely he was, a roll for the ages.

When someone is hot you grab hold and ride hard.

As any regular punter knows there are ebbs and flows.

One bad week is no indication of their prowess.

We’ve all had days where nothing goes right. That’s punting!

What about 20 bad years ?

Heh heh. If everyone was honest every year is most probably a bad year.

From a profit turning from punting point of view.

There will be exceptions of course.

Last spring you were nearly obliged to change Nobetspays name to Everybetpays.

Now that would have been something to see!

Speaking of the GC game, it happens to coincide with Newmarket Handicap Day.

Can we get the QLD version of Cognac and Caviar off the ground?

Imperatriz into Richmond pays for everyone’s day.

Beluga and Bundy anyone?
