Thoroughbred racing

Weren't Jack and others in our team also part owners of Mr Brightside? Rediener paying $34 looks in form.

They just showed Pidley on tv, collapsed lying on the members lawn. Fly undone again.

Somebody at least put some sunscreen on him, geez. Oh the humanity.

Alright lads - Let's see if the Saturday Set can keep the good times rolling!!! Fingers Crossed!!

Big Set for a Big days racing:

Caulfield:

Race 2: Sheva - Hayes had this pegged as their best 2 y.o but didn't get to the races. Two back puts Wolfy away easily (chance in Guineas today) and other two massive forgives. E/W play @ $18. Overs.

Race 4: She Dances - Won 5/11. Monster run first up sitting wide. Maps better today. Classy. Winners win. E/W all day @ $11

Race 5: Uncommon James - Blinkers on TICK. 3/3 Second Up TICK. Maps perfectly off hot pace TICK. Won 6/11 TICK. Winners win and will today @ $2.50

Race 7: Alligator Blood - WFA horses win WFA races. No other horse in this race could be 5 all H2H with Brightside. Should be odds on. Not $3. Winners Win. Don't over think it.

Race 9: Steparty - Star. Maps perfectly to stamp himself as the next star of the turf today. Cox Plate this year not out of the equation. Won 5/5. Winners Win. $5 - crazy.

Randwick:

Race 4: Snowman - Gave Riff Rocket a touch up last start. That is now fav for the Derby. Bowman on the Snowman. $4 is a bet.

Race 5: Front Page - First up for the new trainer, the smart Matthew Dale. Massive tick as this uber talented horse has been very poorly placed in its career. Won this race last year and can win again. Will sit on pace and give a massive kick. $6 - Yes.

Race 7: Private Eye - One of my fav horses ever. Interesting stat - won last three starts when drawn outside barrier 5. Drawn 5 of lower though he hasn't won any. i.e. love the wide draw in a race of little pace. Will sit close, show the best turn of foot in the country and win.

Race 8: Mr Brightside - WFA horses win WFA races. Best WFA and the best miler in the country. Don't over think it. Should get to black odds. Winners Win.

* All prices on betfair.

GL in what is now just about the best days racing of the year.

Now the dust has settled and the single malt has worn off, worth recapping Saturday.

Despite a couple of late misses, we batted at 4/9 with $18, $11, $5 and $3 winners.

At level stakes a lovely 400%+ return and we continue our perfect record for the spring with a profit (mostly huge one's) every week.

The Spring from heaven with the biggest problem hiding the money from the Mrs.

Gunna have to invest in another Golf Bag. Any advice on other mediums to hide our stash are welcome in this safe space.

Let's keep bashing bookies for another few weeks lads!!

Signed,
The Prince of Profits.

Stellar job mate. I’m keen to get on your tips every week. Preferably with plenty of time to get on. You have a gift !

Give the strangely named Hoo Ya Mal a chance in the Cup at the Heath Saturday. Has run 2nd in an Epsom Derby over the 2400m - good each way value @ $16 Sportsbet.

Another roughie in the last at Randwick #16 Ka Bling, currently $18 Sportsbet - each way.

Bet responsibly!

Been told by a very unreliable source that Glebe, race 3 at Kembla Grange on Saturday is a 110% certainty to win. Extreme confidence. Says this is the easiest money ever made.

One should consider the words "manifestly scurrilous" and "mayonnaise" when reading this post.

I too know this source. Au contraire he is extremely reliable and, unlike yourself, a stand up guy.

No he isn’t. His head is enormous, bald and is being used to settle an inter galactic colony on by aliens.

Anyway, he said this horse was certain to win.

Half of those things are true. Which is the most accurate you have ever been in your life.

OK folks! The Saturday Set is ready!

Can we keep the perfect record of winning every Sat this spring in tact!!

GL All!!

Caulfield:

Race 1: Brave Mead: Up to 1400m that has been screaming out for. Gets the perfect ,ap to sit just off the two Waterhouse horses and go BANG! $2.50 is a yes.

Race 4: Facile: Form around Learning to Fly last campaign then won in great time first up against Joliestar who has franked the form. Again maps very well on pace. $2.90 is a bet.

Race 5: Azula: Gaibot flyer who has trialled up a bomb. Leads and takes power of catching on its form last campaign. Overs at $8.00

Race 6: Spacewalk: Godolphin have ironed out the kinks in this talented galloper. Maps to sit just off a hot pace and go BANG @ $2.50

Race 8: Buffalo River: Headcase who if jumps with them will simply run them into the ground at $5

Race 9: West Wind Blows: We will know in the first 200m if barrier two is a godsend or a horror. We're banking on the former. HUGE run in the Turnbull and if bounces off that in anyway will take a power of beating @ $7. Will save on Hoo Ya Mal who's UK and now Aus form stacks up to run very well at odds.

Randwick:

Race 2: Lawyers Delight: In a typically open Highway, this horse is massive overs with no weight and great map. @$18 a great E/W bet.

Race 5: Kazou: Massive massive wraps on the fav commemorative, and will need to be good to beat Kazou who trialled like a jet. Will lead for fun, kick on the bend, then white knuckle time as it tries to hang on. $5 is a play.

Race 8: Cotehele: Returned from a spell when a tragedy beat first up. Can atone today @ $4.50.

GL Everyone!

A few winners to Leysy Boy there. Shame the Tiger boys couldn't win with Soulcombe in the Caulfield Cup. Started too far back and Craig Williams had to do catch up in the end. Geez....Mark Zahra's wife's a character!!!
