I didn't have a bet last Saturday, i've been busy painting the house. Do you think that perhaps i might have cured myself? ;)
 
Morning Punters, currently in Adelaide visiting daughter no 1 and grand daughter so not sure how Queen Leonora will go at Caulfield today - reckon she might just fall short, maybe a place - well drawn and will get run of the race but ......
Happily to Be in at Flemington Saturday reckon she might be a sneaky chance, not a strong race and she carries little weight.

Am off overseas for a couple of months so won’t be around to share the spoils and will only have intermittent internet access so might not be able to keep you all informed re my smalll share of horses, back just before Super Saturday in March. Hope My Pendant has kept her winning streak up in my abscense but she will be taking on tougher races soon.

Greetings fellow Tigers from a sunny Mexico, currently in Playa Del Carmen having a great time.

I need a little favour from my fellow punters. The All Star Mile voting has opened and as it turns out I am lucky enough to have 2 of the 130 odd nominated horses. Both Urban Ruler and My Pendant have been entered. Now Urban Ruler has 800 owners (one of which is me) so he will have plenty of supporters and has a great chance of making the field. Not much chance of winning but last place in the field of 14 gets $90k so worth the throw at the stumps - especially when you can stack the chances of getting a run with so many owners. My Pendant on the other hand is only a 3yo filly but she might just be a sneaky chance. She is planned to run at Flemington in the Vanity (Group. 3 over 1400m in mid Feb) then if that goes to plan run ion the Australian Guineas (Group 1 over 1600m on MArch 2) then into the All sTar Mile if she can get in the field. Lots of ifs and buts there but you just never know.

Can I ask all punters to use their one vote to put it on My Pendant?

The irony of all the above - being in Mexico I can’t vote as you need to be in Australia to vote!

Must go - can hear the call of a Corona and some Nacho’s.

Ignoring, of course, that our boys Dusty, Dion and others are part owners of another nominated horse, Main Stage - which I reckon is in the Urban Ruler category of not likely to be a winning chance.
